Nepiarsky issues a one out walk in the 7th, and he is done for the day. Quite a performance though.

Incredible job by Nepiarsky. Not sure I'd bring Ruotolo in now, but desperate times call for desperate measures. One out in the 7th.

This team is absolutely infuriating with RISP. I can only imagine how Penders feels.
Hey at least I think he has been reading the boneyard. He tried a lot more hit and run yesterday and even a squeeze today so he is trying to get creative. Unfortunately its still not working.

The 2 strikes called against Sundberg had to each be a foot outside. Can we please get a break.

Sitting behind home plate. Strike zone is suddenly wider than the Grand Canyon.

And we come out of the long break with what.... an error and a run.

Mid 8 | East Carolina 4, #UConn 1. Kay strikes out the lone batter he sees in the T8. Huskies with Melley, Davey and DeRoche-Duffin due up.

We need to find that pot of gold - quick!!
