Bases loaded you have to capitalize on that especially with your number three hitter.
And there 8 & 9 hitter come up and rip a double and single and just like that have a run. We have to rely solely on walks to mount any threat. I don't know if the wildness of their pitchers just have our guys off but it seems like their swinging at pitches that are out of the strike zone and looking at pitches right down the middle. One thing I've noticed is that our batted balls are a lot dinkier than Tulane's. They were able to get very solid contact against Tabakman, whereas I can't recall one hard-hit ball I've seen come off of our bats today.
Time to recruit some hitters for next year....no offense was the demise of this team. Pitching has to be perfect down the stretch for this team to have any kind of chance.
What's going on here?
Who do you go with in the 9th? I say Over.
Kay on for the ninth. Interesting.
What the hell...I leave to eat dinner and this happens...huh?!?
