UConn and 2022 NFL Draft

Travis Jones, Defensive Linemen, UConn

If not for the otherworldly showing by Jordan Davis, Jones would have stolen the show thanks to the freakish display of athleticism during his workout. A sub-five-second 40-yard dash at 4.92 seconds while being 324 pounds is impressive. Laterally, Jones shined with impressive ankle mobility that flashed in the circle drill as well. This showing certainly helped an already rising draft stock.”

Here’s Omar Fortt narrating a tiktok video of his typical training session at the TEST facility. Ryan Van Demark is now there as well as they prepare for a hopeful ascent to the NFL after their pro day. The NFL QB throwing darts to the assembled is none other than UConn’s own— and the Lions’— Tim Boyle sporting his Aaron Rogers-like man bun—lol.
Good luck guys—keep working!!

Travis should have a long NFL career. You could see how much potential he had right away freshman year and he is still getting better. Quite a bit of upside in that young man. NFL teams like that.

Pro Day has a way of laser focusing your training. Omar Fortt is working like crazy at the TEST facility— and it shows! Notice the difference?

Omar Fortt is working hard and getting ripped at TEST’s facility. It’s all in preparation to impress all the NFL scouts who will be very much in attendance at UConn's Pro Day next Wednesday. Lots to showcase, lots to prove, for Omar, Ryan Van Demark Kevin Mensah and several others. Good luck to all our Husky hopefuls!

Man you love to see all this positivity around Travis. Everyone with even a passing knowledge of football could see he had so much potential. He put in the work over the last couple seasons and it's paying off big time. Man's about to get paid.

Ok, but why not do that when you are actually playing? Hopefully that will change.
