This is not a news flash, but have you noticed the pattern and consistency that Stanford adheres to? The majority (except guards) of the players H/C VanDerveer recruits are at least 6'2"? The height of these two latest recruits? 6'2". A quick look at this year's Cardinal roster shows that the only players under 6'2" are all guards.

Stanford picks up third 2017 commitment, all in the few days: Alyssa Jerome, 6-1 F, Harbord Collegiate Institute (Toronto).

Whoa! And this player -- Ms. Jerome, who has experience on Canadian National Teams -- looks like she could be related to the recently committed Estella Moschkau. Another wing/forward who can shoot from long distance.

I wonder if Tara is keeping a 2017 slot open for Ms. Dodson or if that's it. Of course, like my fellow ND posters, I'd like Ms. Dodson to enjoy an OV to South Bend!

Good for Tennessee. Not to be a spoil sport, but didn't she drop from about #20 to #55 on HG?

She had a injury. I'm not sure what the injury was.

There have also been questions about her consistency and motor..............two things that can be fixed by the right coaching staff and/or the player

Kasi Kushkituah, a 6'4" Post from Georgia, has verballed to Tennessee. This is a position of great need for Tennessee, especially if Mercedes Russell decides to forgo her fifth year. Of the eleven players that have or will make official visits to Tennessee two have verballed to Tennessee and one to L'ville. The other eight are still undecided, Four have yet to visit us.

I think she will be a good player. I wonder if her teammate Dodson will follow.

I noticed she is #11 in prospect nation.
Thanks for keeping us abreast of all things Tennessee. After your post about the Tenn Georgia football game, I thought you'd be informing us of the results of the Texas A&M game. :)

If Dodson (their other visitor) gets into Stanford, she is going there. Academics is the main priority for her.
Maya Dodson confirms that her & her parents number 1 priority in a school is academics in this interview.

Can't blame her for that..........getting thru four years of college along with basketball commitments is never easy and it must be must be doubly hard at Stanford......still if you have the ability it's hard to turn down that opportunity
