Jake is a clown, but rothstein definitely has tons of connections.

I'm not worried about the repaired one. I do wonder if his hop is going to be as quick. I'm keeping my fingers crossed because he is a great kid who is easy to root for.

Rothstein has been on an offseason long crusade against grad transfers. Maybe idiot is harsh, but in some cases it's accurate for him

If so, he will learn and learn fast. If he has that much aggression he just needs to be taught. On this team offense comes off of defense. If he cannot transfer this year he will be working out with the team, correct?
On the practice court he will be up against some uh pretty good players. I'm sure it was a positive experience for our team and Coles so either way everyone will benefit.

Another transfer out for David Cox.

That's five players transferring out this year and four last year.

Gotta question the program culture when that many transfer out.

Again, no way Martin would have signed here unless he's willing to give it his 100% and work his butt off. Excited to have him on board!

I've watched a bunch of URI games recently to get a good idea of what Martin 's game is, and I came away with the impression that Toppin is a player. If they really are going to let everyone transfer without sitting out a year, I'd definitely be interested. The numbers are a mixed bag, but I think there's some real talent there.

It seems like a pretty good fit, and he's a quality player. We don't have a ton of other options. I could definitely see it working out.
 
Toppin needs to work on his shot and/or getting stronger, as he's a bit undersized for the 4 currently but is a detriment shooting from the perimeter as a wing. If he can get to 220 like his brother without sacrificing athleticism (or maybe even gaining explosion) he'd likely also be a beast. He's got good instincts.

He’s also a Brooklyn/Nepsac kid.

Hurley said this quarantine has made recruiting really difficult, getting to know the players in particular, and as a result "a lot of mistakes are going to be made both ways." He knows Fatts even better than he does Martin so it's got to be tempting.

If Fatts wants to come here we take him, right? We just go small, or go trial by fire with Springs at the 4.

The Fatts fit would not be great with Cole, but he would be so much better than whoever our other 5th starter would be (Carlton/Martin/Gaffney) that you'd have to do it.

In some ways he’s a fit. For example I don’t really love our team ball handling. We’ll be pressed every night in the big east.

we only have 1 spot available. but as far as fatts is concerned we'd be lucky to "recycle" a future pro
 
For what it's worth I was checking out the URI board and someone said this:

Kids started transferring well before because their inner circles have been reminding them all that the new rule would likely pass. Tyrese even said in his IG live before he committed anywhere that he was told the rule would pass.

I didn't catch that instagram live but if true it seems like Tyrese thinks he will be playing next season.
