This guy is a serious player, the team offense ran through him. Effective outside shooter with a soft touch! Hope we get interested. Don't know about the love affair?I guess coach and mom broke up....
Good post player with skilled passing! He isn't capable of playing the 4 except against very specific types of teams... Georgetown comes to mind. He is pretty much a traditional back-to-the-basket big with a little bit of catch and shoot ability. He doesn't have the lateral quickness to cover 4s at all. He's probably slower than Sanogo.
yeah, no definition, and if he's 240 i would be shocked. Looks like a high school player still.Really? He's listed at 240. Or do you mean he needs to trim some fat?
I've only looked at the numbers, but he seems like exactly what we need in a backup big, or maybe a 4 alongside Sanogo in a big lineup (Whaley replacement).
the kid averages nearly 20 ppg and over 7 boards. Those are 2 good reasons to play the kid against anyone unless UMass sat him against quicker players - is that the case? He was 1st team A-10 so don't think so. He must have faced some guys smaller and quicker than him. Offensively he has some good foot movement and he doesn't plod at all. He was one of 10 college players nationally that were in the running for the 2021 Naismith Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award, he didn't make the final five (Bouk was one of 10 for the Jerry West SG award but also didn't make the final cut).He isn't capable of playing the 4 except against very specific types of teams... No UMass didn't sit him because he started and played C for themthe kid averages nearly 20 ppg and over 7 boards. Not sure if there is room/he would fit here especially if IW returns but it's worth the look see unless he brings some garbage (and not necessarily talking about his Mom)

He's already played 2 and UMass board thought he was staying 3 years tops. Probably wants a bigger showcase and a shot at the tourney before he leaves college. I don't know what UMass-Woodstock Academy will do without him.As a refresher to Tre's initial recruitment by UConn.. Was the Javonte Brown commit decision the signal that there was no longer UConn interest in Tre? IIRC .Sanogo announcement was made after Tre had already decided on UMass. Just curious about how the sequence of events went down.
If IW decides to make money next year rather than returning--Would be a nice fit.
Wouldn't Tre have three years of eligibility left?
Tre was a target in 2019, so none of these players have any impact on his recruitment. After Kofi left us for Illinoi$, we were scrambling to find a big man. We went from Wahab, to Mitchell and ultimatley landed Springs who seems like a good prospect. As a refresher to Tre's initial recruitment by UConn.. I don't think anyone is saying he wouldn't be a good addition to the team. He'd be a strong option behind Sanogo, but the question is whether he's looking to come off the bench somewhere. There are a handful of highlight videos from this past year online and it becomes very clear very quickly that while he's a skilled player, he does not have the quickness to play the four.the kid averages nearly 20 ppg and over 7 boards. Smart can make up for quickness, he is that, a good decision maker and would loosen up the inside as he can shoot from the 3 point land. He has the size to shoot over many guards.I don't think anyone is saying he wouldn't be a good addition to the team. It’s not the offensive end where that lack of quickness would get exposed.Smart can make up for quickness, he is that, a good decision maker and would loosen up the inside as he can shoot from the 3 point land. He has the size to shoot over many guards.

Their board has a thread where 5 kids were looking to leave if Tre wasn’t, if I’m reading it correctly. He’s so good. Underrated passer. Really smart player. I think 8 players from his Woodstock academy were on UMass, what a dumpster fire that staff must be.
This year is a free year for eligibility per NCAA.Thought he might have three left since he's only played two years. He's already played 2 and UMass board thought he was staying 3 years tops. Did it say why? That seems odd to meTheir board has a thread where 5 kids were looking to leave if Tre wasn’t, if I’m reading it correctly.
