James Akinjo also had 8 points and 3 turnovers in his Georgetown debut last night
Chief said Enoch would put up numbers if used right. Good FG%.Enoch's exhibition stats
10/28/18 vs. Bellarmine (W, 71-60)
25 min, 14 points (4/4 FG; 2/2 3P), 5 rebounds, 1 block
11/3/18 vs. Simmons College (W, 90-41)
15 min, 16 points (6/7 FG), 4 rebounds
Good fg %? He was 10-11. My eyes saw a lot of potential in Enoch when he was here too. Boy could we use him.Chief said Enoch would put up numbers if used right. Good FG%.
When a guy is misused by his position and head coach - Chief relies on the eye test rather than statistics and this is another validation of that approach.
Maybe long term upside but lasts years team missed in the following order:That stat popped out to me too. Durham very good, Vance not so much.
But, hey, this is what I said 2 years ago anyway. I didn't really care about losing Vance or Enoch, but I thought Durham was going to be a big loss. He has offensive skills, and he has very long arms so could be a defensive force, if he could get some strength down there.
Maybe long term upside but lasts years team missed in the following order:
Jackson.: Number 1 issue on offense was a third or 4th option for Jaylen
Enoch: certainly couldn’t be worse than what we had playing in the post.
DO was a good guy but no BB player and Carlton was a kid.
Durham: Was a non presence on a team whose number one sub was Vital
He apparently wasn’t recovered. Two ACL’s is tough to come back from.
But it’s almost 4 years in the past now and he is still young .
His last Competition before UConn (2016-17 )was Feb 2015.
I was never a fan of Enoch, thought he played matador defense, never knew where to be. At least as a Soph, I didn't think he was better than what we had last year, and if you count his offense, he may have been worse (i.e. he had trouble scoring).
out of sight - out of mind. they are history!Vance started and scored 7 for UNM. Durham off the bench for ND for 6 points and 3 blocks.
It will be interesting to watch these three all year.
Few changes, just to help out...From another thread. I'll get around to adding the 2018 guys at some point and taking the NBA guys out.

I haven’t really paid attention to this, why are Beatty and Harris immediately eligible?Few changes, just to help out...

No idea - NCAA granting everyone waivers now.I haven’t really paid attention to this, why are Beatty and Harris immediately eligible?
Except that one guy, can’t seem to remember his name or what team he is currently on...No idea - NCAA granting everyone waivers now.

Of course he is.Really? You're going to pretend we can judge anything by virtue of how he performed in exhibition games against those two schools?
Wow, hadn't noticed with our second kid coming in March some of these. I was so butthurt when we missed out on Beatty because we prioritized others (doh!), even though he didn't do much. Must of been homesick/family matter?Few changes, just to help out...

Durham against UIC whoever that is. Stats against Div 2 teams don't count for much but it will be interesting to see how these 3 will perform. Still think Durham is the only one who may be a loss for us.
Yeah, not sure what happened with either of those guys but they were both guys I wanted to. Thought for sure we'd pay for not getting Beatty as a backup to Diallo.Wow, hadn't noticed with our second kid coming in March some of these. I REALLY liked Clarke in the '15 class too. Hopefully he gets his stuff in order and plays this year.
Are you saying he had trouble developing? Seems to be a recurring theme . . .
I plan to be watching and checking the stats of the guys who are actually playing for the UConn Huskies in 2018/19.
Still salty UConn and Kisunas parted ways, huh?I plan to be watching and checking the stats of the guys who are actually playing for the UConn Huskies in 2018/19.
