So he's about to declare for the draft eh...Newton is now following RJ Cole as well

Right but seems he is trending PC the way Newton is for UConn so I doubt it
Don't assume it’s either/or…I prefer Newton, so this is good news.
Boneyard worthy sleuthing. 3 stars for everything except how it ties to the knoll in Dallas.Alright so some general/weird info here that I’m not sure has been posted yet.
-Tristen Newton has a brother who is also in the portal who played 4 years at Evansville. He’s actually a pretty good player.
-The Newton’s are from El Paso Texas, but neither brother received an offer from their hometown university, UTEP.
-Furthermore, the Newton’s cousin is Green Bay packers RB Aaron Jones, who is probably UTEPs most famous alum. Aaron’s brother also played football at UTEP.
-There are tweets out there from Aaron imploring UTEP to offer the Newton brothers but that seemingly never happened (probably a mistake)
-The last carrot here is that Kimani went to UTEP. Not sure if the Newton’s mom or dad went to UTEP but with the UTEP connection in the family I’d say it’s a possibility. Either way there’s probably some sort of El Paso-area connection to take advantage of there. This might also explain why Kimani wasn’t watching Castle this weekend (Murray and more were there) even though he was the lead recruiter on Castle, because he might also have the best connection in to Newton.
That’s just good clean internet sluethingAlright so some general/weird info here that I’m not sure has been posted yet.

I'm with you. No idea what's happening. My first thought was Luke Murray because of his dad.Wait, I'm sorry, I have no idea what this means.... Is he saying he is comforting us cause we should be sad? Is he using a Bill Murray reference to Luke? Is he saying we should be happy? Am I the only one who has no idea what he is talking about
He posted the Bill Murray reference when he hinted very early on we were hiring Luke so I imagine he’s doing something similarI'm with you. No idea what's happening. My first thought was Luke Murray because of his dad.
But what does it mean? Perhaps somebody Luke would have connections to?He posted the Bill Murray reference when he hinted very early on we were hiring Luke so I imagine he’s doing something similar
I just need us to sign a point guard any point guard at all. Once we have one on the roster I can at least stop checking this thread every 15 minutesI'm with you. No idea what's happening. My first thought was Luke Murray because of his dad.
That was my thought as well, that he is confirming that some "" is going on regarding a UConn recruiting target and he's letting us know that Luke is involved. But what does it mean? Perhaps somebody Luke would have connections to?
To know something but respect staff/player enough to not leak it is some A1 journalism by Slater & a great show of respectI took it as he knows what’s happening with us signing a recruit but can’t say
it was.I used to think this was a good tweet for us… im starting to question if it was the CFJ farewell one…
You new here? Yes, anything that happens Chief will subsequently claim he informed us all of in some unrelated nonsense he posted beforehand. Are you suggesting we were supposed to infer that Corey Floyd Jr was transferring from your post that Dan Hurley is like the AD at your daughter's Catholic HS?
I confess I didn't get it. Especially the AD reference as opposed to Principal. I can imagine, having had a kid go K-12 in Catholic school recently, some parallels. We had a choice of two HS and know many kids who went to each. The one she picked ended up being overly strict and nitpicky about so many things. The other one gave the kids a little more freedom and individuality. Are you suggesting we were supposed to infer that Corey Floyd Jr was transferring from your post that Dan Hurley is like the AD at your daughter's Catholic HS?
Third hand, but I heard from a friend with a good source two weeks ago that Hurley might be wearing players out with his over-the-top stuff.I confess I didn't get it. It wouldn't surprise me if playing for Dan Hurley is pretty constricting and not a lot of fun. All season I commented on how freaking tight our team seemed. The just weren't loose much of the time, and I think it caused some of the shooting woes, especially among guys like Hawk, but probably Gaff as well. Then the tweet from Slater talked about Hurley finding guys who are mentally tough, and Stacey Castle made related comments.
Love his game. He's a good player
Me too. Really love his game. Skilled 4 man.Love his game. He's a good player
