Transfer Portal Window 2023

Stewart is also pretty decent at getting in the lane, but more of a bully ball player from what I've seen.

It will be a very different team next year. It will be interesting to see how Hurley adjusts without knock down shooters. More drives to the rim is my guess.
I just can't see us not picking up a shooter in the transfer portal. These things have a way of working themselves out during the offseason even if we presently have no ships to offer.

Now that Pitino is leaving Iona, perhaps that guard Clayton will join the Portal?

The sad thing he can't receive NIL money because he is on a VISA

He's getting NIL money. Merch sales are fair game, and he and Samson went to the Bahamas to get NIL stuff going a few months ago. Tschiebwe has a 3 million $ NIL deal and he isn't a citizen.

41% from deep on 5 attempts per game? Get Tom Moore on the line. Would be an excellent bench piece for a year.

Since he played 2 years of CC, he should have 1 year of eligibility, right? Defensive rating is decent as well.
Yup 1 year left

I can't imagine Pitino letting him get away.
If Pitino can find a big man for next year and some shooters, they will be top 25. Without bringing any of his Iona guards he already has Posh, Curbelo, Addae-Wusu, and Kolby King. Posh and Addae-Wusu are built for the pressuring/turnover type of defense that Pitino will deploy.

Soriano still has a Covid year I think.

I don’t know how he’d fit along Karaban and Clingan but man he is probably the biggest name in the portal now

If we continue to not show interest in PGs, I think that points to Newton coming back which would be big. Diarra can’t be the only other PG on a roster with a freshman starting based on how he has looked offensively this year.

We're not taking this guy, but just a warning about why recruiting rankings are not always a predictor of success in college.

The 6-foot-10, 240-pound sophomore from Brampton, Ontario saw limited playing time during his two years with the Sun Devils, averaging just over three minutes a game this season. Boakye averaged 0.7 points and 0.7 rebounds on the year.

Boakye is a former four-star recruit and was the No. 26 overall player in the nation from the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

We need a guard that can get in the lane though. Hopefully the staff gets on that at the conclusion of the season.
Yep. We can discreetly get the word out to players we want up until the annual coach/player chats but must wait on who’s coming back. Can’t risk forcing any trsnsfers.
