Without naming names I would not count on all the players on the above list(s) being members of next year’s team. The last time I laid out a depth chart it was
Solo
Mullins
Ross
Stew
Reed
Nowell
Adams
Abraham
Reibe
With the idea Nowell would get a lot of time as a ballhandler in a Shabazz moving Kemba off ball kind of way with Solo.
Obviously this may not be close to our roster next year. But wouldn’t mind the portal add having a similar role.

I'd love him at PCRumor is Providence has reached out. GTown too.
You will, he is 6-6 220, will be 19 this summer and has an old man's style of game. Will be an impact player next year.
I don’t know what the IU portal guys are gonna command but I’d be all over them for that reason, de-Woodson them and you might have a stud. I know Hurley likes players he’s seen up close so who knows. These guys have big time college hoops bodies.I don't think IU is the best example here. Woodson was a baaaad coach. It was inevitable from the first day he was hired that his teams would severely underperform. It was a bad hire and no amount of money can overcome incompetence.
NIL will root out folks who maybe could have faked it...and I don't think that's a bad thing for the sport.
True. Woodson probably was on his way out, but i can't imagine that the amount of money they spent with no results didnt cross their minds every day. Do You think schools will continue to play bidding wars for 3 years with no rings and still keep the coach? It's an added layer of pressure that will not be sustainable. This is mile 2 of a marathon. We still have the legs for it, at the moment.I don't think IU is the best example here. Woodson was a baaaad coach. Btw, congrats on the epic thread. Whats the record for a non OT thread length? Can't tell if people are just naive or whistling past the graveyard. The world is changing very fast, and it's legitimate to wonder if we have the resources to keep up.
A lot of Furphy talk, here are recent highlights on him...
I want to read into him saying it’s gonna be tough not seeing Hass and Samson in the locker room NEXT seasonI mean, I don't want to read anything into it.... but I actually really want to
$2 Miller Lites?I mean, I don't want to read anything into it.... but I actually really want to
If they were hanging out with the “puppet lady”, would that be good or bad news?Btw, did anybody post this yet? At tonites womens game.

Providence was ready to move on too tbhWhere is this guy going to go that is an upgrade from Providence and is going to let him start?
No idea - not so much interested in long threads as good discussion. Is there a record out there? I'll happily pass any trophy along to Hans to put on his mantle.Btw, congrats on the epic thread. Whats the record for a non OT thread length? The Hurley Kentucky-laker thread was deep
This happens everywhere. Certain SEC and Big 12 programs offer 2-3x the players worth. The environment is getting to be quite challenging. Jay Wright retired shortly after a final four appearance, at about five years older than Sean Miller is today. He was pretty clear that the new (NIL) environment turned the job into something he didn't want to deal with.
I knew for a couple of months that there have been lurkers trying to poach players from our roster (Danny's comment on 60 minutes was to call out those trying to steal our roster, not to point out dissatisfied players), I found out this morning that some of the offers a couple players have gotten defy logic.
This isn't for the faint of heart.
For programs like IU, NIL has changed nothing about the $$ on their end. They're used to this. They're not used to other programs being able to do the same.True. Adams is really lean. He will need to get a lot bigger and stronger for the battles in the Big East. But with his skills, the future is bright.Adams is more Big East ready than Mullins is. Furphy, who has a much more developed body than both of them, is arguably more Big East ready than either as well.
