Here is a list of every defensive lineman recruited by Bob Diaco:

Sheridan Lawley
David Ryslik
Dallas Parker
Felton Blackwell
Connor Freeborn
Kevin Murphy
Noel Brouse
AJ Garson

Not Kidding, this is all of them. Luke Carrezola committed to PP and Diaco turned him into a LB.

Diaco Recruited three RB's:

Nate Hopkins
Vickers
Ron Johnson.

Newsome was a PP recruit inherited by Diaco.

I have no problem with some of the guys who played for Disastor liking him. What I don't understand is hanging around for 3 years getting a free eduction, then leaving while bad mouthing the school. If things were so terrible without red pants, then why stick around? They have no credibility at all. Put on your big boy pants and grow up.
 
My favorite in that Twitter account is when they are listing off all the people who could have gone elsewhere but then moved on. Then they list Jay Rose....last I checked, he's still here.....unless I missed something???

If anyone cares enough it would be great to drop that Diacoism YouTube clip in there for them to feast on when they are quoting all these "great" quotes. Lol.

If this account is legit, then we recruited a lot of naive kids under Diaco who drank a lot of the Kool aid. Good gracious.

You stick around 'cause you want to finish your degree at UConn. Not many (or any) were career football players. Seems like players "not fitting in" follows HCREDreamJob1.0 and HCRE2.0 around. Guess its all on them and none on him.

I'm from an older generation, so I may never "get it". I played college football and we had coaching changes. No big deal, we played for each other. New coach, new learning opportunities and new chances to prove yourself. Sticking around and being miserable is no way to live.

Why did malcontents from the Diaco era not move on for three years? Because almost to a man, they had no other choices because no one else wanted them.

Which makes the belief that our failure over the past three years is primarily -- or even largely -- about coaches rather than players just dumb.

Yes he was a horrible recruiter and coach. Seeing how Diaco went to a bowl then the year after had a disastrous season. If those players could have gone to a P5 school they would have been bench warmers. He would have been an okay coordinator and is under LA Tech but didn’t have the skill to become a head coach.
 
Whoa... didn't Randy tell us that the team was a closed fist instead of an open palm the year before? Other articles were stating that everyone bought into the new culture and team concepts. Was that all hot air? I'm shocked and disappointed.

I think the players forgot what a bad coach Diaco was (is). If the players wanted a motivator we should have made Disco a cheerleader give him Pom poms and let him motivate as head cheerleader. A school doesn’t pay that kind of money to cheer a team on. A head coach should be able to coach @nd motivate. Paying attention Edsall? Notice the non contents do not mention Diacos ( non coaching).
 
All that’s missing from that site is a recanting of all the participation trophies they won as kids. Bye bye Felicia

Pretty sure Diaco took over after Joseph finished playing at UConn. Any interaction with each other would probably be minimal. It would be like Mikal Myers trashing Randy.

It has to do with the way Diaco blocked all the UConn football alumni from the program. Whitewashed the past - I dealt with Diaco his first year and I can attest that he treated me and anyone related to the previous regimes of the program poorly.
