They were projected to finish about 7th in a 14 team league. They’re the definition of mid A10.
Have you seen them play besides the BCU game?

FSU defeats Purdue to win Emerald Coast Classic.

Two good wins over Tennessee and Purdue (Purdue beat VCU and then Tennessee beat VCU)...FSU might sneak towards the 25 rank...VCU should. drop out
FSU beat Florida earlier in the season. That loss to Florida St is not a bad loss for Florida. Makes our win look better

Tulsa up by 10 on Vandy with 4 to play and Tulsa having troubles handling the press.
Take notes Dan

Edit: 50 seconds and the lead is down to 4. Just relentless pressure and double team from Vandy and Tulsa with 3 turnovers.

Tulsa wins

No, but they have wins over St. Francis PA, Cal State Northridge, McNeese St, a bad Vanderbilt team and a jury-is-still-out Wisconsin team. The only top team they’ve played is Auburn and it didn’t go very well. The cream of the A10 crop is VCU and Davidson with a couple other dark horses. No where I’ve seen considers Richmond more than a middle of the pack A10 team this year. Let’s see what happens the next four months.

The cream of the A10 crop is Dayton, and only VCU is close.

They were picked third preseason but after Maui, I could get behind that.

Duke is down three at half to Virgina Tech right now in Blacksburg. Another dream of a Duke loss may come true tonight.

Our coach’s former team is leading Providence right now. What is the deal with PC? I was hoping they would be good so we can get a nice little rivalry going next year.

#30 for BYU looks like he is 40 years old. Honestly, BYU's whole team could show up for a 30 and over men's league game and no one would question them.
You don’t remember Toby Kimball second on the Alltime UConn rebound list.
He looked like he was 40 but once got 26 rebounds in an NCAA tournament game.
against a top 20 opponent. He was a man among boys.

Fatts Russell drops 24 on PC and was by far the best player on the floor. Hurley sure finds great talent.

Dunno but URI took them by a good margin and it seems as if a couple folks on thier squad, Russell and Langevine, had pretty good nights.

PC is lucky this isn’t loss #5 in a row. They barely escaped Pepperdine. Do not know what their problem is, but they came into the year expecting a NCAAT berth. This has to be a disappointment. Dukes has been decent, Reeves has underwhelmed. Diallo has also regressed.

And in other news regarsing tonight's slate, Jamie Dixon's TCU (6-1) is down 6 with 8 to go at home against USC (7-2).

Their problem is guard play.

Duke, Reeves and Gantt are athletic wings, but Maliek White and LuWane Pipkins are their only true guards. White is a fine depth piece on a good team, but not a starting guard. Pipkins is a black hole volume shooter. Any team can't expect to win this these two guys as your two main true guards.

They haven't had a good true guard since Kyron Cartwright. That should change next year once former St. Joseph's PG Jared Bynum is eligible. Bynum scored 11.3 points and had 4.5 dimes a game as a freshman. 3 years of eligibility remaining.

Once the VA Tech/Duke game got out of hand, I switched over to a recording of the Providence/URI game. It was great to see the Ryan Center alive, and the combo of Fatts/Langevine was intensity to its fullest. David Cox is an easy guy to root for and there are so many parallels between him and Hurley. Good win for URI! Also, nice to see A10 basketball alive this year.

What happened to Reeves? Many here thought he'd be a star and earlier last year had a run to make it seem that way. He's averaging about 6/2 and is shooting 39% overall and 26% from 3. Looks unhappy with his 19 minutes and his effort looks like that of a future transfer quite honestly.

They're very talented with a couple decent large men in Young and Watson. Bunch of athletic wings, not sure Cooley can turn this group around. They seem to be very out of control.

Watched PITT- Louisville yesterday. Not impressed with either team.

I was certain Reeves was an NBA guy and honestly thought he’d only stick around 2 years. Prototypical SG for the NBA.

Cooley is an awesome guy and great recruiter, but besides riding Bryce Cotton and Kris Dunn to winning seasons he hasn’t been able to develop a single guy.

Sean Miller pulling off his best Gary Williams as we speak on ESPNU. Sweating his butt off on the shirt yelling “..that’s a BS call..” at the ref. Baylor ripping his 9-0 Wildcats up for now in the 1st half. Don’t like either team but Miller can’t get beat enough for me.
