Quinten Rose of Temple is 1-6 from 3 and 3-11 from the field. Ouch

Maryland in action against Harvard following a tight win against Temple. Harvard up 10-2 5 mins in

Our win against Buffalo may turn into a real quality win. Remember they beat Harvard on a neutral court.
No doubt. They won the loser’s side of the bracket in Charleston too. Gonna stack up a lot of wins this year.

.-.
After seeing Michigan dominate the battle 4 Atlantis I am now certain we are winning the National Championship.

Markus Howard destroying USC on ESPN2 right now. First player in Big East history to have back to back 40 point games. Looking like he could get 50 tonight.

Glad he’ll be gone from Marquette next year.

Penn State crushing Cuse and Duke tied at half. Great day so far.

Congratulations are in order to New York’s College Team on their fourth place finish in the Preseason NIT played in their home city. Losses to two decidedly average teams in Oklahoma State and Penn State are fine results. Here’s hoping they continue their successful run against another decidedly average team in Iowa on December 3.

:D

Meanwhile, Florida trails (2-3) Marshall by 8 at the half. Blackshear got into foul trouble again. When he doesn't play, they look lost on the court.

Creighton with big win over TT 83-76 in OT.

Big East had a good night. Other than Providence, but someone has to be the East Carolina of the Big East.

Too much is happening it’s crazy. I can’t keep up or understand the meaning of all of this. One night a team is great and then another they lose a questionable game. Field is wide open. Michigan is a top 5 team and they’ll leap from unranked to 3

Forgot to mention the sighting of Emmett Matthews on WVU. Showing he should be a nice 4 year player for Huggy. 10 & 5 average and I think I saw 45.5% from 3. Was 3 for 5 a couple nights ago in a nice holiday tourney win

Georgetown is struggling against UNC Greensboro on FS2. Akinjo's shot selection makes Gilbert's look thoughtful and patient.

Georgetown and Providence really killing the Big East so far this year. Was hoping Ewing could translate his NBA legend status to get GTOWN back on the map ala Penny and Memphis but not seeing it so far. Thankfully DePaul, Butler, and Creighton have some good wins and are better. Will be interesting to see how Marquette does against Maryland tomorrow. The top 3 (Seton Hall, Villanova, Xavier) need to win some of their big non conference games remaining because they fell on their face in their first opportunities.

And like SJ, I'm not a fan of Akinjo's game at all. Some people bring him up and say Man I wish we had him. Sorry, he has some flaws and isn't good enough to overcome the cost of trying to keep him (another year of Ollie.) Now Kofi and Precious? Those are the fish I wish we caught. Really liking the players Hurley is identifying and landing. Even the ones we don't land are studs which shows he's on the right track.
