Well Wandy pitching the 9th was a way better choice then Schmidt. Had Holmes pitch to Cleveland’s heart of the lineup Ramirez swung like he was trying to chop down a tree.

I still would've kept Holmes in but Wandy has been reliable and made quick work of them in the 9th.

Well see if they get this game in, great idea MLB for having a scheduled off day between games 1 and 2. Not just morons, but greedy ones. The only reason the playoff schedule is the way it is is to maximize profit and "prime time" media slots. Like the break between game 1 and 2 makes no sense other than not wanting to have games air at the same time.

I was speculating that the reason they didn't play on Wednesday night was because it was TNTs opening night for NHL - not sure if that's true or not but that was my first thought. For whoever wins, its ridiculous they have to start the ALCS tomorrow too.
