OT: The OFFICIAL NBA Draft Thread

I like fox. Shane they got hosed against unc.

Although he won a lot of fans after that game

Silvers comment about needing a second year with 5 frosh in a row looks idiotic

Anyone who believes silver....I got a Bridge in Brooklyn to sell

Nitilinkina to the Knicks. I really would have liked to have seen Smith go there, or even Monk, but both are going to be way better off being away from the trainwreck.

Watch Dennis Smith Jr. turn into Westbrook.

Don't be an idiot. Do you really think I would draft any human with a good heart? Of course not.

When you have two roughly equal basketball players, I'll take the good kid first every time.

Ainge has intimated that Tatum was his number 1 all along anyways.
lol. Tatum is a better kid than Jackson and Fox?

.-.
Knicks were gifted Smith and screwed up, so typical.

Nope, Knicks got the best player in the draft just like 2015. The French freak, 7 foot wingspan and Michael Jordan hands.

Knicks now have two unicorns.

So the Bulls gave up Jimmy Butler and the #16 pick for Dunn, Lavine, and Lauri Markkanen. Let me get this right they gave up a top 15 player in the league along with the #16 pick for Kris Dunn, Lavine with a busted knee, and the Finnish Channing Frye.

The Bulls may have just overtaken the Knicks as the biggest joke.

Can't see how Fox was a better prospect. When I am hearing people talk about Smith's weaknesses, they mention his lack of defensive effort and his poor body language. Give me a break. Fultz was even lazier on defense and you have to prioritize talent. Dallas is probably a great fit with their veterans and with Carlisle. And now Monk is going to the Hornets. Sorry Jeremy but I love this fit.

I agree, I would take Smith over Fox as well. Smith is a stud.

No. What don't you like about the pick? Reminds me of Oscar Roberston.
I didn't think it was possible for a random person on a message board to make me hate the pick within half an hour. But here I am...

Jay Williams suit has to be spandex

At the time of the 2010 NBA draft Kemba was projected 27th in the 2011 NBA Draft by nbadraft.net and 11th by draftexpress.

So Kemba was MUCH MUCH higher on people's draft boards after his sophomore year.

Sorry you are wrong - according to 2010 nbadraft.net history of mock drafts - the only UConn player listed was Stanley Robinson at #40 to Indiana (published 6/24/2010)
In 2011 mock nbadraft.net, Kemba was projected #12 to Utah (published 6/23/2011)

Try again dofus, here is a little thing called proof:

June 18, 2010: DraftExpress: Mock Draft

June 23, 2010: 2011 Mock Draft | NBADraft.net

Funny thing is I could keep posting their updates, like this one from July of 2010: 2011 Mock Draft | NBADraft.net

which has him going 19th, so you could not be more wrong, but that is a common theme with you

It's amazing how much air time ESPN gives Calipari/Kentucky.

You could spend 1000 hours building a relationship with a kid but a 5 minute spot in primetime for Calipari on ESPN during the draft is a far more effective recruiting tactic.

It's nearly impossible to compete with.

I hate Cal. But he just won over a ton of recruits and their parents in that interview.

Seriously, watch the Yahoo draft show. There is no excessive hype for any team and Tom Crean's analysis is infinitely better than anything you hear on the world wide leader.

They give him that platform every single year to tell kids he doesn't care about winning, his only job is to love them and send them to the NBA. It's all so sickening.

Yeah but I'm not being recruited by him, every kid that wants to play in the NBA is watching ESPN right now and he's getting that exposure.

Most HS basketball studs are not at home watching a draft on a nice summer night............
