Kelly Johnson is hitting .333 this month, and Flores is hitting .308. What the hell are you smoking?
 
The Flores experiment should be over. Johnson is an ok backup. We need a real 3B.

Freese may be available very soon if Bucs can't start winning again. This month has been perhaps the worst they've done since I've been living here.

@Rico444 ...his OBP is .333. He is hitting .273 in June. 1 jack and just 2 ribbies.

Headed to tomorrow's day game against the Royals. Big Sexy on the bump and tickets with access to some fancy club. Hopefully my attendance can turn this ship around. I went to the game they hit 3 HR's on 5 pitches against the Nats after the trade deadline last year.

I'd rather sign Gurriel but if they miss on him, Reyes is certainly an upgrade over any pile of garbage the Mets have on the left side of their infield.
 
Couldn't they just promote Herrera to do whatever they'd hope to get from Reyes?
 
Yeah, as nostalgic as I am about Reyes, I'd rather promote Herrera if they're going to shift the infielders around. He's hitting the crap out of the ball in Vegas.
 
Steven Matz...missed a start with sore elbow. Came back and now has elbow discomfort again.

Thor pulled today after having his start pushed back one day...asked to be pulled...with elbow discomfort.

Yeah, but he's hit the crap out of the ball at every level in the minors, and he's one of our top prospects. He should be the first option if we're going to start shifting around infielders.

I'm very bullish on Herrera myself and know his numbers well, and wasn't trying to be standoffish was just pointing that out.
 
when they took Harvey out after 6 you knew we were done. no more runs and 3 innings....disgusting.

Shouldn't have pitched to Perszynski the second time. That was an easy call that TC didn't make.
