The CFP

Caleb Williams getting injured killed them. Their only chance was to outscore Utah...and a banged up Williams couldn't do that.

Oh well..now we have to deal with Ohio State in the mix...let's hope TCU doesn't muck this up, or we might see Alabama in there also.

Not watching a Final Four of Michigan, OSU, Georgia and Alabama. Won't watch a second of it.

Refs screwed TCU there with the spot and then not reviewing the third down run. If this keeps TCU out of the playoff there is something really wrong.

Dykes screwed up. Losing 34-31 locked TCU up in the playoffs. A FG gives TCU a good shot at a second OT. A TD doesn’t guarantee a win. Why go for it?

KState always seems to play the role of spoilers. Going for it was a panic decision, if you go for it why not a roll out so it provides you with 2 options for K state to stop or just qb sneak it.

TCU still 100% needs to be in the playoff.

Really bizarre formation and play calls on third and 4th down goaline plays. You always gotta QB sneak it there with a nose guard up front and a big back pushing from behind.

No way TCU gets in now. What the hell were they thinking on 4th down?

(Jim Ross Voice) "My gawd....is that Bama's entrance music?!?!"

More ranked wins than Alabama, made conference championship game and was an inch away from winning while Bama was at home, bigger win vs. Texas than Alabama, TCU 1 loss Bama 2 losses...

On paper it makes sense and is a no brainier. Unfortunately, there is still some human impact with this decision and common sense doesn't always apply. I won't be shocked to see Bama get in over TCU.

Agreed but be prepared to be let down.

I would put them in over Bama, but the playoffs is a made for TV cash cow. Will the committee pass on a chance to add Bama? I doubt it, but TCU is more deserving.

Tcu stays at 3 Ohio state at 4, they won’t make Michigan and Ohio state play again in the semi finals
That’s the question. TCU will be in, but the question is whether they make sure Michigan and OSU don’t rematch.

TCU didn’t lose to a bad team. KSU IS ranked #10. At the end of the night one of Alabama loses will be to a 4 loss team.

TCU will still get in over Alabama, it's borderline impossible to justify putting in a 2 loss Alabama team who didn't even make their conference championship game
This cracked me up...

Stan Van Gundy on Twitter: "To me the College Football Playoff makes no sense to me. Playing in your conference championship game should never work against you. Why should it be advantage for Ohio State and Alabama to sit home while USC and TCU have to play an extra game against a nationally ranked team?" / Twitter

Dykes really screwed up in overtime. Obvious case can be made for the QB sneak and push from behind. But K State could not stop Duggan. Go shotgun spread and let him run it in. Just a real fail there by TCU coaching staff. No way should this loss should let 2 loss Alabama in.

Alabama’s resume doesn’t compare with TCU’s. Their best win was over #20. This just isn’t a typical Bama team. I’m not sure why some people can’t just accept it. They lost two heartbreakers. Is that better than winning? Of course not, so who cares what the score was.

TCU is not getting edged out for a two-loss Alabama.
