More ranked wins than Alabama, made conference championship game and was an inch away from winning while Bama was at home, bigger win vs. Texas than Alabama, TCU 1 loss Bama 2 losses...No way TCU gets in now. What the hell were they thinking on 4th down?
(Jim Ross Voice) "My gawd....is that Bama's entrance music?!?!"
Maybe Randy Edsall was phoning in more plays? No way TCU gets in now. What the hell were they thinking on 4th down?

On paper it makes sense and is a no brainier. Unfortunately, there is still some human impact with this decision and common sense doesn't always apply. I won't be shocked to see Bama get in over TCU.More ranked wins than Alabama, made conference championship game and was an inch away from winning while Bama was at home, bigger win vs. Texas than Alabama, TCU 1 loss Bama 2 losses...
Agreed but be prepared to be let down.More ranked wins than Alabama, made conference championship game and was an inch away from winning while Bama was at home, bigger win vs. Texas than Alabama, TCU 1 loss Bama 2 losses...
I would put them in over Bama, but the playoffs is a made for TV cash cow. Will the committee pass on a chance to add Bama? I doubt it, but TCU is more deserving.More ranked wins than Alabama, made conference championship game and was an inch away from winning while Bama was at home, bigger win vs. Texas than Alabama, TCU 1 loss Bama 2 losses...
That’s the question. TCU will be in, but the question is whether they make sure Michigan and OSU don’t rematch.Tcu stays at 3 Ohio state at 4, they won’t make Michigan and Ohio state play again in the semi finals
This cracked me up...TCU will still get in over Alabama, it's borderline impossible to justify putting in a 2 loss Alabama team who didn't even make their conference championship game
TCU is not getting edged out for a two-loss Alabama. Not watching a Final Four of Michigan, OSU, Georgia and Alabama. Won't watch a second of it.
You’re right, will probably be 1) Georgia, 2) Michigan, 3) TCU, 4) Ohio StateTcu stays at 3 Ohio state at 4, they won’t make Michigan and Ohio state play again in the semi finals
Wasn't Cincinnati ranked 4 last year?Haha. Not that the MAC or any G5 conference champion would ever get a first round bye.
Did I say leaving the AAC was good for the whole athletic department? But now that you bring it up…Wasn't Cincinnati ranked 4 last year?
Notice 2 AAC teams in top 25, Tulane will be playing in the Cotton Bowl. Top ranked Men Bball team Houston. So leaving the AAC was good for the whole athletic department, how?

No. You posted a reply to my post.I posted an open question.
Dollars, recruiting, success... is there a significant sport at UConn that's doing worse since leaving the AAC?Wasn't Cincinnati ranked 4 last year?

They all seem to be doing significantly better.Dollars, recruiting, success... is there a significant sport at UConn that's doing worse since leaving the AAC?
I've even tossed all those little blue pills! Who knew it was Edsel and the AAC keeping me down all this time? They all seem to be doing significantly better.

Because Dan Hurley wanted to go to the NEWBIE. Nothing more to it than that. Easier trip to the NCAA tournament.Wasn't Cincinnati ranked 4 last year?

AAC was an upgrade for Houston but a down grade for UConn look at the geography. Conference USA vs the Big East hmm.Did I say leaving the AAC was good for the whole athletic department? But now that you bring it up…

The AAC is the old Conference USA. 20 years after the first raid we are back were we started. Among a bunch of private catholics and alone in FB.
What did the AAC get us? Time. It allowed independent FB to become viable again. We'd be UMass if we had to go indy in 2003 or 2013.
