This is a really interesting take…and I’d add Oklahoma and Vandy into that mix. Historically, the SEC was Tennessee and maybe one other team. Georgia was good for a while. LSU had some good teams. But it was easier for Tennessee to be consistently at or near the top with less competition. As you pointed out, there’s a lot more competition now. It’s going to make any rebuild a lot more difficult.
