So now we're at half-time
And UTenn is in a position they've been in many times this season.

So what's going to happen?
Will Tennessee's bigs take over the game, wear Maryland down and pull out the game?
Or will they get behind by an additional 5-7 points, panic and go back to Knoxville with their tails between their legs?

I rather think the latter.

Every time there's a break, you know that Simmons isn't going to pass it. I think she's had about 6 or 7 and only scored once.
 
I picked Maryland to win....... but I wouldnt shed any tears to see them lose.

A most sloppy game by both teams....Turnovers galore. Missed lay ups. Very frustrating.
 
This state of affairs is hardly surprising and heartily pleasing. However, late game flat spells have plagued Maryland this year so this one will not be over til it is over.

On the other hand UT also can wake up and score in bunches.

I'd love to see Tennessee go down today. If not, and they lose to Louisville, they will cry foul at having to play on their home court. (And have a good case, IMO)

Russell seems pretty good, I don't know why they don't try and run a play through her. It's all one and done with the Tennessee guards

Refs have decided to get involved. What little flow there was is gone. Unwatchable. If it wasn't the tournament, I'd clean dog poop from the yard instead.

They have a 6'6 post and they never even try to get it inside (unless you count jacking up shots and hoping she gets a board). Russell would have been better off at Louisville, she would have gotten better coaching.

But rebounds has nothing to do with the guards or gettng her the ball.
