The wildcat on second was the damn killer

Blew a big 3rd down conversion. Too much pepper on the ball by Whitmer. And the FG sails wide.

Is it windy there?

How many freaking sacks does Temple have? 6? Shades of the 2007 game.

Christian is killing us. We needed a score and didn't get it. Special teams and OL continue to kill us.

Not a great pass by Whitmer, but put a bigger receiver in there instead of NW. He's fast but too small

.-.
DeLeone: "Ok, whoa!! This offense is just blazing out of control down the field!! How ever will I slow us down before we crash into the end zone?? Oh, thank God for the Wildcat!! Minus 4 yard --> missed field goal...... Whew we almost got points on that drive!! Crisis averted! It's good, because I wanted to save these awesome plays to finally remodel my dream bathroom."

Another 3 and out. Like clockwork.

McManus is a better punt than he's shown today. More solid FP for UConn.

Our offense has lost confidence and our halftime adjustments remain bizarre. Can't rely on 3rd and long conversions every single frigging drive.

You have got to be kidding me.

Whitmer is a turnover machine.

It's what he does best.

.-.
When the supposed offensive philosophy is to get to 3rd down with a manageable situation (which is a horrible strategy) why on earth are you running it between the tackles on a 2nd and 20?

Has anyone started the "Fire PP and GDL" thread yet today? We should get that going.

Because it stupid to allow Whitmer to throw the ball.

As we saw...

They are so infuriating.

WOW. We're gonna lose to Temple again folks. This one's on the offense and the coaches, sure.....but most of all, it's on the special teams (Nick Williams included).

No, what he does best is quick rhythm passes, but DeLeone simply refuses to run anything that would put Whitmer in a position to win. No wonder Nebrich went off on Twitter about this staff.

Defense does it again!

14 points and approx 200 yards in the first quarter and zippo after that? WTF? And i'm betting now they just try to run the clock out.

Yeah. It's DeLeone's fault he just threw over a wide open NW and then turned the ball over... again.

4th and one and Temple is going for it. HUGE play and we definitely miss Joseph for situations like these...

And we get the stop. Defense deserves a medal or something.

Well if that's the case then take our 14 points off the board as Whitmer throwing the ball is the reason we have them. You can't expect to win a game when you coach it scared of your own players.

That throw to Smith is DeLeone's fault, right?

Sigh.

I just feel so terribly for the defense. They deserve so much better. And though the offense is absolutely responsible for our predicament, don't forget about the abysmal special teams.

Dude, you just made my point. He had to run in off the sidelines after the S*** wildcat play. And he missed a receiver? shocker.
And if you are the Offensive Coordinator of a FBS BCS program you HAVE to recognize the O-line (which he coaches) is sucking and Whitmer is getting blasted all game and all season long. When you see that, you MUST ADJUST!!!!!! These complex, slow developing passing plays are just foolish when your QB clearly hasn't had the time. That's bush league coaching.
