Temple's rushing numners: 28 rushes for 125 yards...4.5 YPC average

UConn's rushing numbers: 24 rushes for 38 yards...1.6 YPC average

And this is at home. They are just better in the trenches. Thank goodness Coyer hasn't thrown the ball so far.
DeLeone has absolutely OBLITERATED our offensive running game, and he has done it FAR BETTER than any opposing D-Coordinator could have ever dreamed of doing.

Absolutely huge 3rd and 4 here. Just run a simple curl her please, nothing fancy.

We are great at completing passes agonizingly short of the first down. Please run your routes past the damn sticks!

4th and one...man up OL. This is where I hate the zone blocking.

False start. Horrible.

Phillips sighting. We really need a 2 possession lead because Temple is showing life on offense (though they are beating themselves with penalties).

That missed FG in the 1st qtr is looming large at the moment.

Whitmer waking up a little bit. Have to get at least a FG here, but a touchdown would be huge with the way this defense is playing.

Arrrgh.

The wildcat on second was the damn killer

Blew a big 3rd down conversion. Too much pepper on the ball by Whitmer. And the FG sails wide.

Is it windy there?

How many freaking sacks does Temple have? 6? Shades of the 2007 game.

Christian is killing us. We needed a score and didn't get it. Special teams and OL continue to kill us.

Not a great pass by Whitmer, but put a bigger receiver in there instead of NW. He's fast but too small

DeLeone: "Ok, whoa!! This offense is just blazing out of control down the field!! How ever will I slow us down before we crash into the end zone?? Oh, thank God for the Wildcat!! Minus 4 yard --> missed field goal...... Whew we almost got points on that drive!! Crisis averted! It's good, because I wanted to save these awesome plays to finally remodel my dream bathroom."

Another 3 and out. Like clockwork.

McManus is a better punt than he's shown today. More solid FP for UConn.

Our offense has lost confidence and our halftime adjustments remain bizarre. Can't rely on 3rd and long conversions every single frigging drive.
