Sunday (3/24) games: NCAA 2nd round

Robbie Ryan hits both. Miami time out so they'll get it at halfcourt.
 
Hof's layup rolls around the rim but doesn't fall...ASU going to the Sweet 16.
 
Hofs' shot rolled around and fell off the rim. ASU wins!
 
I like Miami, tough loss for them, but congrats to ASU and helps speak to the depth of the Pac 12.
 
Missed layups really blew it for Miami at the end.

Bad day for the Florida teams:
FSU women lose to South Carolina.
UCF men lose a heartbreaker to Duke.
Miami women lose a heartbreaker to Arizona State.

Hate to see a Senior (Hof) last shot as a college player go like that :(:(:(:(:( And still.... Miami has never made it to a sweet 16

In case you weren't watching, the Huskies won! Now that I'm coming down from the ledge, which of the games should be the best? Miss-Clemson or Oregon-Indi? Currently watching that latter.

I'm happy for Arizona State. Two years ago they lost a heartbreaker in the 2nd round at South Carolina, where they actually ended up giving SC their toughest game of the tournament.

This is ASU's 6th straight year in the 2nd round, but their first Sweet 16 since 2015:

Are we certain that they would finish ahead of NC State? After all, the best team they've beaten this year is South Carolina.

Well they just shut down Miami's twin towers. McCowan is bigger but there's only 1 of her.

This one is looking like a dandy. No back down at all from the Hoosiers. Battled back after being down 7 and up 4 now.

Hey Triaddukefan, you pointed out earlier to me that Miami was no "UCF" when I predicted ASU would beat Miami. You may have not factored into your analysis before your post that ASU is a darn good basketball team, and, ASU is the only team to beat Oregon State's in Gill Coliseum (so far) this season. ASU took down Miami, on Miami's home court. This is the Miami team that beat Notre Dame & Louisville. PAC-12 conference games prepare our PAC-12 teams very well for the NCAA Tournament. Defense also travels well in the NCAA Tournament. Go PAC-12!
