Sunday (3/10) games

No idea how Stanford got decked by 40 last time. They have some real strengths. Carrington gets all the tough plays made. Outplaying Hebard. And Sabally has been really struggling lately.

They do but they are leaving the door open tonight. As bad as Oregon has looked Stanford should be up by more than 9.

Sabally absolutely must get going to take some pressure off Ionescu and Hebard. She has had a really horrible tournament.

not as long as Frese is the coach. She just recruits shooters and cannot teach defense.

Its unfortunate to see all that talent misguided sometimes. Will be interesting to see what that team looks like next year with all the returners and a big time freshmen class.

Yup, he just announced it...:(

Maybe they will have a blizzard in Vegas tonight and tomorrow
We are having rain at the moment, maybe it can turn into a downpour and close McCarran airport.:rolleyes:

Ha that would be the perfect excuse for me to miss work tomorrow.

Totally agreed, exactly what I was thinking. Alanna Smith kinda cooled off after those initial 5 points, but if Stanford's superior bench can take some pressure off her, Smith could unload in the 2nd half, and it'll be game over if that were to happen.

Stanford getting good minutes from Wilson and Coffee, and they have some quick smaller players chasing down those elbow rebounds.

...

Smith limping. Not good for Stanford.

edit--landed on another players foots, rolled her ankle; hopefully she can get it taped up and return

Oh no. Smith lands bad when fouled on a rebound and limps straight back to the locker room. No more injuries please.

And right as I said that Dodson limps off the court. :(

Now Dodson is down. This is ridiculous. If Oregon comes back and wins, it doesn't count.

Well Smith and Dodson are back in and seem to be fine, but it didn’t give Stanford their momentum back. Oregon finally hitting some 3s and have cut it to 1.

Wheels have fallen off the bus for Stanford. Momentum totally shifted while Stanford's front court was out.

Stanford must be about 1 for their last 12 shots or so. Can't hit anything.

okay, 1-10 according to box score play by play, but also 4 or 5 TOs during that stretch

Attendance so far for the finals: Big 10: 4,427 in Indy SEC: 5,771 in Greenville ACC: 10,104 in Greensboro. SoCon: 1,280 in Asheville A10: 1,003 in Pittsburgh (Duquense's Arena)

Are you rooting for Stanford?

 Yeah, I think I am. Orange and black people sometimes find it hard to root for yellow and green people. Plus I've liked Stanford for a long time.

Impressed by Stanford's size, but not their athleticism. They are slow afoot and if they don't make their shots they don't have any offense.

Looking like we might get a good finish to this game, both teams hitting shots to start Q4.

51-51 with 4 ' left in Q4. Not bad.

Was watching the WWE ppv but Becky Lynch can wait.

The drama here is better.

Close game in a conference tourney final with major seeding implications. Gotta love it.

Carrington with a really nice pick 6 on Cazorla gives Stanford a 4 point lead. Forced an Oregon timeout.
