Nowell has been putting together a mixtape in this first half and has missed out on a bunch of assists from guys blowing layups and bricking open jumpers off of his set-ups. How did a NYC guy not get any looks from the local midmajor conferences coming out of high school and wind up at Little Rock?
Big guard bias?

ABC - Anybody But Calipari

Go K State!

Calipari has slid so far in the NIL and Transfer Portal world that I don’t really give a spit about him either way. I feel the same way about Kentucky that I feel about Clemson or Oklahoma State. Just another generic, mediocre basketball program.

Listening to Jim Spanarkal call a game is like listening to an analyst that stepped out of a time machine from the 80's. His recommendations are just wrong and very dated.

There were at least three travels on the last Kentucky possession. Refs called the third one.

Nowell grew up idolizing Kemba.m

Don’t think the zebras will let Kentucky lose this one.

Tshiebwe great rebounder but it helps when you can get away with everything he does. If anyone can watch the game (I have the video on my phone too big to attach here) again in the furst half with the clock showing on the screen he set up in the lane on offense at the 1:51 mark left in the half. When they shot the ball at 1:36 he had not left the lane yet - yes 16 seconds in the lane not3, not 5 yes 16. Of course he got the offensive rebound, traveled and miss the shot. But again what an advantage and what horrific refereeing. Just now again 6-7 seconds he does it quote often can't believe they ignore it.

I think the refs in Greensboro are pretty bad, but I don't see a clear bias other than they call it pretty tight on the bigs. The Kentucky guard basically Irish step-danced getting into the paint without getting called, and then as soon as Tshiebwe shuffled his feet a little, the refs called it.

When a team is "feelin it", just throw up some daggers. Why not? Play loose and leave it all on the floor. That is KS now.

Nowell is insane. He’s giving me Kemba/Bazz vibes in this game
Incredible performance, he should've had like 12 assists if guys were finishing. Hit every big shot when Kentucky looked like they were getting space.

Kansas State doesn't have nearly the talent that Kentucky has, but they are fearless. I have a ton of respect for this team.

Calipari loses track of time and possessions, and forgets to foul. When has that happened before?

The public goes down with Kentucky like yesterday with Duke. Makes me feel better with the huskies. We got the one out of the way.

KSU played with a lot more moxie down the stretch here, completely unsurprising result.

Cal is an idiot for keeping Antonio Reeves in the game. All he can do is shoot threes and he's 0 for infinity, he shot them out of the game.

Kstate will be tough to beat after this win, they will now have UCONN 2014 level mojo and we know better than anyone that a hot point guard can carry a team to a championship.
