Here we go (as always, use the chat for our Huskies tonight).

9-9 at first TV timeout, yet 95% of what announcers have uttered are compliments for Xavier.

Xavier getting the pace they want and their shooters look good.

Xavier offense looking unstoppable, but Pitt doing just enough to stay in the game.

The tv crew were just saying that Miller said he has to slow the pace because they don’t have the depth.

Kunkel is an excellent player now, where last year I thought he played completely out of control. Nice work by Miller.

X was incredibly efficient in that first half. 17 assists and only 3 turnovers. UConn and X were both excellent in our first half against them on 12/31 with something like 28 total assists between the teams. X is even better today.

I think they recognized early Xavier is getting all the looks they want and it's at their pace while Pitt was pulling shots out of their arse. Good job by Pitt keeping this at 14 at half instead of 20+, when it looked like it might really get out of hand.

It's really nice to see Pittsburgh get the chance to play some big boy basketball. Good for them.

It's going to be interesting what Capel does this offseason. He's got the 7' and 6'11" twins who need to bulk up, but both can shoot 3s and have good BBIQ. And he's got 6'11" Federiko, who could also benefit from a few more sandwiches. I'm pretty sure the only guard who still has eligibility in Hinson. If they all do hit the buffet table and the weight room, Pitt should have a good front court. Capel did a great job finding guards in the portal this year. If he can do it again, Pitt will be tourney bound for next 2-3 years.

Hinson has the flop pose down!

I have spoken!

Refs are starting to buy Pitt's flops.

Feels like a possible inflection point in this game right here -- if Pitt cuts it to 8 by the next timeout, this will go to the wire. If Xavier pushes it back to 15, it's over.

Pitt is so bad it's unbelievable, particularly on D. Xavier getting open looks almost every single time down the court. Pitt is so lucky Boum has been pretty bad and that X has missed some easy looks.

Texas is a bad matchup for X with a short bench. If Nunge gets in foul trouble, they will get blown out.
