Marquette looks scared. Surprised that a Shaka Smart team would come into a second round game this tight.
Marquette looking like they did when we blew them out, not like they played in the BET.MSU on fire to start sheesh. Pull it together Marquette
Either you‘re not comparing apples to apples here, or your stats are wrong.
MSU up 16-5 and Kolek has to sit with 2 fouls already. MU on life support already I'm afraid.
I don’t know. There’s a lot of game left and Michigan State has always been one of those teams that lets opponents back in. Syracuse was always like that too. I never got too worried when cuse was up because they always let us back in.You don't generally see a team start this badly and come back. I think it is just not Marquette's day. Time to focus on UConn/St. Mary's.
I think it has more to do with talent disparity. Thanks for the correction, I didn't recall that. While those two made the FF, overall First Four winners competing for at-large spots have only made it to the 2nd weekend five times out of 24 (20.8%) vs a 38.5% success rate for 11 seeds vs 6 seeds since the field expanded in 1985. Tired legs pretty much has to be a factor in that lower success rate, ya think?
