Sunday 2nd Round (non-UConn games) thread

Refs will decide this Miami game. If Ormier doesn't pick up fouls, Miami should run away in 2nd half.

I won't be upset regardless of the outcome but I would love to see FDU pull this off. These guys play so damn hard.

FDU for me, but both teams have the hometown/Rockland connection so kind of a win/win. Tobin Anderson and the 3 guys he brought from STAC on FDU and Nick Boyd on FAU is from Garnerville
 
It's nice seeing Lappas covering so many of these games. He was with us through the dog days of the AAC when we stunk and he always had great things to say about UConn during those games when there wasn't much good to say about us on the court. It's nice to see him with a much better gig covering great games. He's a good guy.
 
I like this FAU team. A better match up against Tennessee.
Like Lappas too.
 
Does Roberts have eligibility left? This kid is a college Isaiah Thomas. These dudes play so hard, but it looks like they might come up short. No shame in that

First year in D1 but he was a grad student so no eligibility left
 
FDU has got spunk. Usually, the 14, 15 , and in this case the 16 seed s. h. I. T. the bed in the 2nd round lose by a lot, but not the case here with FAU. They balled the hell out

Got caught up in the moment glad their coach addressed it. Not very smart either potential injury with the game already won.
 
That's OK, when FL ATL loses the next game everybody will forget them but FDU will live in perpetuity for the huge upset.
