eh, fouled on missed 3 a couple times, but you're right they missed open looks. We were not fouled on all our missed 3’s today. Let’s stop with the big east is too tough for us.

So you went to a crappy pizza place in Pittsburgh?I just got back from having a fantastic dinner out with my wife for her birthday. How was your night?
I understand what your saying, but it's the NBA evaluators and draft guys that are saying......if you think you are a better evaluator than they are, I get it, but that's who is saying it..Down to .349% from 3.
I guess I'm not seeing this amazing "potential". A lightning quick release? Not that much in his bag. Moves well? That is a lottery pick?
Right now we're shooting to get our asses kicked by any team capable of shooting 40%+ from the field and that doesn't treat the ball like a live grenade. We will kick peoples A. Outside of Michigan, we are as good as any team. Get past the first game jitters, and winning 5 is in our DNA. Credit to SJ tonight. They were given and they voraciously took. Can't wait to see them do what they do best, in the dance.
Tonight's game has one very useful side affect. It gives the rest of the field a false impression of who we are. I like that.
This is UCONN, you are the starting guard of a UCONN team. You better play like one of the best in the countryYou are nuts
Have to say I finally agree w you on something. Seems like he’d be tossed around like a rag doll in the NBA. There is talent there but he needs more work to refi e.Down to .349% from 3.

The UConn system is the most NBA system in college ball.Best player on the floor? No. If I was an nba gm, there wasn’t a player I’d want more. Braylon Mullins is an elite talent. The UConn system, much like Steph, holds him back.
Still slimy. Now it’s just legal. Because of moneyShades of Louisville Pitino, still got it in conference
Agreed. His game is perfect for the NBA. Spacing. 3s. No defensedisagree thats part of the problem...nba blows overall so he'll get drafted bc he chucks the 3 and hits and is athletic, but agree not ready, these days it doesn't matter if you are "ready"
No NBA GM will give a damn he struggled in an idiotic conference game that for some reason prides itself on basketball games with rugby defense…Exactly this. NBA scouts aren’t going to look at Mullins like some UConn fans look at him, and say because he was bad against St John’s he’s plummeting down their board. That’s not at all how it works.
True. I do not like the term, personally. But UConn winning in the non-conference and SJ losing in the non-conference was not done with mirrors. And yet SJ clearly was the better team over the 3 games. It is what it is. UConn, won 18 straight, playing iffy. I am sure they can win 5, even against much tougher competition. The DNA line better live up to it's rep this year - we can retire it if they don't make a decent run this year.
No I get the whole potential thing - his range seems to be anywhere from 10 to 28. There seem to be so many players that look to have more "potential" than him in this draft. I just don't see a lot there. Gonna be curious to see how it lands.I understand what your saying, but it's the NBA evaluators and draft guys that are saying......if you think you are a better evaluator than they are, I get it, but that's who is saying it..
Well ok but they won the last 2 BE regular season and tourney championships so they own us right now.Call me coping, but daddies don’t lose by 32 to their “sons”. Let’s not go THAT far

I fully agree but lets not waste the explanation to those who prefer not to listenI will just say this once for people who haven't sat though countless NBA drafts.
The NBA draft is about potential not performance. That is why most of the first rounders are 20 years old or younger.
That is why Mullins will be highly desired. He has a perfect jump shot and a lightning release. He is 6'6". He moves well. His potential will be obvious to NBA GMs.
His potential is higher than many because he is 18 years old....They figure he grows into his body and becomes a force...in a perfect world, he should come back...a 2nd year in college would do wonders for himNo I get the whole potential thing - his range seems to be anywhere from 10 to 28. There seem to be so many players that look to have more "potential" than him in this draft. I just don't see a lot there. Gonna be curious to see how it lands.
Those 11 and 14 teams were very good out of conference. They struggled in conferenceWho thought we could win it as a 7 seed?
I guarantee you Braylon gets drafted higher than his stats would validate. Playing in the UConn system helps to those that matter. The UConn system is the most NBA system in college ball.
I wish they did a lot more dribbling to get around the high screens and dump it off instead of sticking to picks and rolls and looking for 3s.
I just got back from having a fantastic dinner out with my wife for her birthday. How was your night?
Very similar to this team yah? Those 11 and 14 teams were very good out of conference. They struggled in conference
Miss Cam. He destroyed teams in and out. And he had a attitude about itSeem to remember losing to Louisville 3x in a season and winning a natty. Pitino knows how to beat UConn. Miss Tristen.
Nah. You are wrong. BTW, care to predict how far SJ will go in the tourney?Right now we're shooting to get our asses kicked by any team capable of shooting 40%+ from the field and that doesn't treat the ball like a live grenade.
We suck. It’s trueSeeing Dan Hurley say "We Suck!" to Pitino half way through the game pretty much says it all.
