Not sure about that. There is a lot of size in the teams considered to contenders.

Florida
Illinois
Arizona
Michigan
Duke

These teams all have a lot of size. It's what's separated the great from the good this year, and all these teams are top in the country in rebounding.

Zubi is actually a pretty small center at 6'9" - and he's not like Bidunga, who is long armed and springy. Zubi is just tenacious.

If we end up tied in the standings then aggregate score should be the tiebreaker but who cares about last season?

I was at the St. John’s game at MSG 3 weeks ago. Never seen a more disrespectful bunch of band wagon jumping/don’t know how to win cause they have never won shit ,bunch of obnoxious fans. They are getting exactly what they deserve. Do not feel sorry for one second!

I was there at MSG as well. Fans were beyond obnoxious and talking so much shit for a program that has never won anything. Loved every minute of this epic beat down
 
The scary thing about this game is the Huskies shot poorly from 3 and had a bunch of shots go in and out. They could have easily scored in the 80's. They did everything I said they needed to do to win this game. Great energy and effort, just tough but smart basketball.

Great time for our A game. Thought our guards-Silas/Solo/Malachi-as a group -had great floor games. Moving and sharing the ball. Broke St J's press when necessary. Very few TOs. Highly efficient. Feeding the Big Guy in the paint. Took Darling out of the game with their D

Here’s Norlander’s article from the game. Very good article.

He says UConn can definitely win the national championship.

St. Johns’ shooting percentage was the lowest by any D1 team this season. That’s kind of crazy.

He thinks this loss might have damaged St. Johns’ psyche for the rest of the season. I disagree with that. Pitino will use this as motivation and his team will respond. He’s really good at that.
