I don't know about anybody else, but we went from 15 up to single digits in a minute and a half? Maybe exaggerating a little, but I was getting nervous. Seems like our boys slowed down.
I mean, did you really ever have a doubt? Your statement is technically correct, but they didn't cut it to single digits until 28 seconds left which would be a historic level comeback. The game was never in doubt

Andre did have a timely three late in second half. I counted st least 3 turnovers in 2nd half where UConn tried to throw lazy pass over defender. One by Andre and one by Alex which led to easy bucket throwing the ball in. Can’t let that happen
He absolutely did. His game is different when he’s looking to attack first and then take a confident timely three when the opportunity arises than earlier in the year when he was just settling for threes.

I think he’s had his career high in points since he’s been playing like this. Teams have also stopped sagging off him so much.

Simply here, to get updated when the doom and gloom contingent comes out. We only won by 9. We are doomed.
We had a solid double digit lead with 2 minutes. Another double digit win would of been nice.

True, it wasn't in doubt. But Johnnies were chipping away big time.

St. John’s was just mad all game that they’re not talented enough to hang with us, so they decided to turn it into a football game. Anderson seems to have no programmatic control and recruits a bunch of hot heads. One of the more unlikable teams in the league
They forgot that Andre Jackson is a linebacker, I love Ajax in these kind of games because teams try and get under our skin and ride some momentum all of the Ajax comes out of no where with a block or a steal.

How about going from up 10 with 48 seconds left to a loss in OT because that exactly what happened to Izzo and MSU
Well that was my point. I was getting nervous. If everyone was else was okay, that's great.

53 free throws in the game. If you take away techs and bad calls, refs kept them within reach. We shoulda won by 30.
Omg, more of “the refs are against us” bs?

That game was a bit painful to watch. St. John’s is as bush league as they come and so unpleasant to play against. Refs tried to whistle everything in the second half to “control” it, but only made things worse. Our offense was awesome, but defense outside of blocks was ugly. Just one of those games you’re happy to win, and happy that someone from the other team didn’t sucker punch a UConn player in the process. Hopefully the last time we play them this season
SJU has a bunch of clowns on their team. Tough to win with a team full of dopey players like that.

Refs mucked up most of the 2nd half with way too many foul calls. Killed any possible game flow.

I thought we had at least 5-6 good looks from 3 that somehow rattled out/didn’t go down. Meanwhile, SJU had some shots that had no business going in find the bottom. Would have been an absolute laugher of a game otherwise.

Donovan started off a little soft on D and especially O in 1st but eventually flipped the switch into Cling Kong mode.

Love that our bench seems to be finding its 2022 groove at the absolute right time.

Starters were all basically solid other than Alex. Was due for an off game, I guess. I don’t worry about him, he’ll be back on track next game.

I know Posh, Curbello, & Jones are shifty & can get to the lane, but the one beef I had was we let them do it with meh defense a bit too much. Especially in the 2nd half.

What is up with this play where Sanogo “fakes” a three, even though he is unguarded at the three-point line, and then drives into traffic and turns the ball over?

That pass by Karaban was terrible!

That was done to mess with the bettors who were freaking out as St. John's was down 9 with 9.9 seconds left. That final SJU pass to nobody was just a way of saying, "Nah, we're just messin' with you."

No kidding. When Tristan missed the FT all I can think was “here comes Vegas”.

They should have thrown her out, period. Security should have escorted her to the exit.
On the other hand, if she was dishing it out to the refs, more power to her. Refs deserve all the crap that is thrown their way. I say, "let her btch".
