So Carolina vs Miss State

SC will just dump it inside every time now that both bigs have fouled out for MS ST

Just don't agree. I think UConn contests a lot of passes inside, but just a couple of marginal calls against Gabby and Pheesa, and UConn could be in deep trouble against South Carolina.

That could be a factor in making it closer, but unless our perimeter game also went south at the same time I can't see us losing to them. We'll be finding out in Feb. :)

As of now, (8:50), there are but 17 posts on this game's ESPN board, and half of these are from before the game started.

Respect your opinion, bags. The good new is we won't have to wait too long to find out.

Dawn, I'd hoped for better. Two teams that run unimaginative, static, predictable, primitive, bruteball offenses. Dawn, where's the focus and execution on the high low? Poor floor balance for both teams. The guards on both team deliver the ball late and ineffectively into the block. It's just on and on. To steal a phrase from Jim Jabir, Geno succeeds not because he teaches offensive plays, but he teaches young women how to play. In order to teach offense a coach must first learn offense. Each spot on the floor has a myriad of options which a coach needs to learn before they can teach it. This takes years of study and/or mentorship. Last year Schaefer said "That's the team we're chasing". Well, you'll chase forever if you continue to play this kind of ball.

Wonderful game by Wilson. She is a talent for sure.

I'm not impressed with either team. Wilson, however, is possibly the best player in the nation. She has so much talent, yet she hasn't been developed, and she hasn't really been integrated into a team game. It's A'ja Wilson and the rest.

UConn beats both of them. Indeed, I don't see either team making the final four.

Only A'ja and Gray would I wish to see in a UConn uniform.

The way these refs are blowing the whistle in this game we could be in trouble. That call against PG on Wilson was the worst call, all ball.

I missed the 2 and 3 quarters. I see two very good teams that could give UConn plenty of trouble. The best game and crowd I've seen this year in a non UCone game.
