Sid Wilson

They're not his most recent, the twitter app puts everyone you follow at the top of other people's follow lists now.

Wilson has followed them for a while now.
Oh OK makes sense

The staff is on a bad run and Oz is just along for the ride. Hopefully September is a very good month for Husky nation on the recruiting front, and there's a good chance of it
Last weekend after my visit to Storrs and chilling at Blaze, I predicted at least two commits in Sept.

Hard to quantify or judge the benefit he would bring to practices, but there is value to be had in him partaking in practices. Can only make the guys better than they would be if they practiced against a walk-on instead.

With that being said, I'm a bigger fan of some of the 2018 wings so I hope this doesn't steer us away from some of those guys. I won't complain, though

He can enroll this week and play next season.

All I am saying is someone high enough on the food chain had incentive to get him to St. John's and succeeded. I am not going to feel bad for anyone who has regrets three months later.

Unless he was given the incentive, or asked an incentive be given to others, I'm not sure why it would be on him.

Because he was not blind to what was going on. No one, from the college program to the recruit himself is innocent. To act like Sid is a victim in this is a joke.

The only thing is... doesn't he have to be enrolled by Friday when class registration ends?

.-.
Yup. Which is why I believe he already has a destination. Hopefully its the good guys

After a quick search it seems he has til Friday to choose uconn or Tuesday to choose Texas based on when the class registration closes

A kid being taken advantage of by people he should trust is the very definition of "victim."
Maybe, if you choose to believe that the recruit isn't aware or benefits from what is going on. I know that is not the case. No point in debating semantics. I will end it by saying, no I don't feel bad for the predicament he finds himself in and would welcome him to UConn with open arms. Its a business......man.

Can a kid who has to sit a year still get a scholarship?

.-.
Yes, all transfers take up a scholarship, even when they have to sit out.

Hey, we got a spare and he would more than stabilize next years class with a commit

Is there any scenario in which St. John's could release him from his commitment and he could play this year somewhere else?

They gave him his full release but he took summer classes so he will have to sit as NCAA is pretty black and white with that usually

Thanks for you're service man! Nothing but Love Chief!

Sometimes dreams over pizza and a cold beverage actually do work - the intel from The City was right and UConn moved quickly; we can surmise.
I love the SJU board bashing UConn boosters. Payback is a blank.
