Robbie Hemmel is the bestI prefer Jim Jackson, Robbie Hummel, Jay Bilas, and LaPhonso Ellis to Donny Marshall.

Seth Davis has been critical of UConn forever.......maybe because of how poorly his alma mater has performed against us.All these years UConn was at the losing end of FTA's and the one noticable time UConn (legitimately or not) has a significant FTA advantage and Seth Davis(!!!) makes it an issue in the post game. Unreal.
Would love to see Nova take down St. John’s tonight so we can win it sooner!Way too close for comfort. Lets win the BE regular season title next week.
At least Reed brought a lot energy to the game. It was just a bad afternoon for him.Reed better 2nd half but disappointing overall. 10 boards worked out but need that Wednesday guy a lot more to finish this thing.
That they did. Question: Did you watch what Michigan did to the Illini last nite?I disagree. Seton Hall had an out of body performance.
Ahhh, so you’re still picking up the phone every month… but you’re also “done”? That’s a remarkable level of dedication to being irritated.I'm talking about the guy who has people calling me once a month asking me for more money for him to buy players.
That guy. I can arrange a deal for him - he can give me back 25 years of money to support this thing of his and then I'll start listening to him.
Until then, he, and you, can both go pound sand.
What an insane thing to say after watching this game.We got a friendly whistle.
Is this a ****** joke? The place was absolutely rocking. God I’m really starting to hate this fanbase.I guess you have to play a few games in Gampel. To satisfy the purists if nothing else.
He’s been a walking turnover since Big East play started. He dribbles way too much and has a shaky handle at best, which is nuts. Also very tired of him getting the ball with the shot clock winding down and getting his shot blocked, happens every game. Hope he returns to non-conference form going forward bc he is neededMalachi Smith drives me crazy. At least he made 1 of 2 free throws. I guess that is improvement?
i went to college with him, Ive heard enough stories about him, from him. His ratio of talking to information or analysis is p
I did too and have talked to him once and he is a little bit of cocky guy. I don't dislike him but sometimes he does go over board on what he says.
When Big East came on the scene Mike Gorman and "Raff" were the best. Dave Simms too.
If we end up needing more than a few minutes from Smith in the post-season, I don't like our chances. I feel like we are just trying to survive his minutes. It is hard because he tends to come in with other bench players. But it was bad even when he and Silas were on the floor at the same time. He provides no spacing and he literally can't get a shot up without being blocked.Lots of points left on the line. Reed being 50% is something we have all accepted but your backup pg being 50% is not gonna cut it.
Love silas his defense was awesome (though you gotta know that they are gonna jack up a shot late if they know you are fouling so you gotta be careful)but he seems to have a game like this once every couple of games where is plays way too passively on offense. He had a smaller guy on him and only took 2 shots.
Well at least we are winning them unlike past years when we were complaining on losing them and making fun of Hurley and record when game is within 5 points at the end.To many wins at the end by under 6 or 7 points. It will bite us in the tournament.
I thought the refs were pretty consistent. The didn't call much, let them play.On the one play? Maybe, but what about the non calls when we got hammered inside all game? They were reaching in, grabbing all game and mostly uncalled.
For a small guy he has a super slow release. That is a recipe for getting blocked a lot when he also doesn't have much lift jumping in his shots. Not the most atheltic guy. Decent speed but more stuck to the ground player. He needs to shoot less and trust his teammates with the ball. He barely looks to pass and that is awful for a diminutive PT guard. I wonder if he just loses sense of space and where his teammates are while dribbling for what seems 20 seconds on th top of the key. He has been a huge disappointment overall even after playing a few alright games. If we end up needing more than a few minutes from Smith in the post-season, I don't like our chances. Seton Hall desperation can simmer until St John’s comes to Jersey. Is this a ****** joke? The place was absolutely rocking. God I’m really starting to hate this fanbase.
It would of been a great game to have Stewie around to help with the physical Seton Hall too. I like both Ross and Stewie as bench players.I thought Silas played well against really physical ball pressure all game. He only scored 1 point but he was a steadying force. Ball had a good second half. Reibe had a couple nice moments. I really like what I am seeing from Ross lately. When Mullins goes out with foul trouble (which is a frequent occurrence) I am feeling more comfortable with Ross holding down the fort. He is a plus defender and his offense keeps improving. Way to go JR!
