Yard work looks more appealing than watching today’s “game.” Why do we play such games? Okay, I understand that Dawn likes to play host to a HBCU each year but still . . . Miss Valley has already failed to reach 50 or come within 60 of Utah or LSU. Their Massey ranking is 346th.

Yes, give Kamilla and Bree some loosening up minutes, but give the majority of 3 and 5 minutes to Sakima and Jah. Hope Tesss is available but don’t push it at all. Let Tehina rest.

How much travel money do we pay sacrificial lambs? Wouldn’t it be better to give it to nearby HBCUs in SC, Georgia or NC who don’t have to fly? What about this game benefits MS Valley State?

We will drop in computer rankings today. Not a big issue, but just another reason I don’t get it.

I don’t mind playing buy games, but keep the money in state.

Sounds like it was a last minute add to the schedule for more games, likely somebody fell through, perhaps like a Stanford? Considering all we've played so far, I can't complain about this game.

Given the uncertainty of this roster there's a world we enter this game 1-3 or 2-2 and this game could have been used to grow some confidence. Even now this is a great opportunity to work on some things and try to bounce back from our woeful shooting around the arc.

There is something a little disconcerting about how hard the backups play in garbage time, but at same time it's hard to ask them to play poorly.

Disconcerting about players giving their best effort while on the court? Please. Every player is working to better their game and the teams’ so that in tight games they are prepared.

As for the talk about SC "backups" and their effort - IMO, it's disingenuous to expect anyone to play with "less effort" based on the score. If you are a competitor you compete. Coaches don't "go easy" - in the post game presser, Coach Anderson was pretty emphatic that she wants to play stiff competition to get her team ready for conference play. Remind anyone of other smart coaches? Brick by brick you build a wall.

I don’t find anything “disconcerting” about players trying to get better so their playing time increases. Do you know how to quickly get pulled out of a game like this? Don’t play hard.

Maybe Dawn knows their coach.

Duke and UNC should be good road tests for South Carolina. It will be a very different environment and both teams are tough and have athletes.

Road games.

We’ve played one neutral site in Paris. All others have been at home

Yeah. If we handle those two without a lot of stress, I think everyone should reconsider the "there's just not a great team!" talk.

Playing with a 70 point lead is nothing like playing in a tight game.
Wth are you talking about? You were just bitching about the bench players playing hard. Wth does the score have to do with how players should play the game? Get a grip. You have so many good posts, this was not one of them. Trust me, let it go. If your ego is too big and you want to push your mistake further, I’m prepared to open this can up.
