There's nothing more annoying than merging threads - don't do it.

The best way to moderate is not to moderate.
Don't worry. I've been a very, very moderate moderator. This was one of three threads I merged and the other two were requested by a large number of posters. Zero on the deletes or warnings.

Second rule - don't listen to these idiots.

But don't tell them that they're idiots. It hurts their feelings. (Well, the extent that they're capable of understanding their feelings.)

I listen but don't follow. I like the entertainment. "Idiots" btw is too complementary.

As an aside, I did pull a power rank in that Cuse merge. I was waiting for someone to call me out on it. It was meant to be a joke of course and not a censorship. I have hopes that Cuse becomes as irrelevant as that Boston college university team.

One thing I am pleased about with Omar, he seems to have kept a positive attitude and worked on his overall game, not just his shooting. This experience may end up helping him in the long run, last year he was just a shooter and overly cocky, now he is working to become a complete player, and being humbled will help him get there.

It's just a matter of physical improvement, work and practice, and time. If he comes back physically, his game will be excellent in time.

I have given up expecting anything from him this year, but I still think he has a bright future.

I watched Omar closely last night. Even during warm ups his shots wouldn't fall. They would rattle around and then pop out. Its like there is a lid on the hoop. Never seen anything quite like it. I hope he snaps out of it next season, but I am afraid this season is lost for Omar.

Interesting observation. When Bazz's game potential game winning shot rimmed out against the OT game vs Memphis, he said "I thought it was going in, I didn't get my feet under me, which is why it kind of twirled." OC could still be feeling the effects of his surgery .....

he's forcing the issue trying to get back to where he was... he's thinking about it too much, it's been a rough season for him health wise

Omar was never a great three point shooter, 32% his freshman year and 25% this year. Its not like he lit it up last year. Boat had a better percentage. He hit some big shots no doubt but with his handle so bad there is no room for him this year. Sit him for TSam, as you can see how well hes played.
