Barring Sickness, foul trouble and injuries I cant see SC coming close. Geno every year sets the bar higher and SC is a very good team, however, UConn has way to many weapons on both sides of the ball and UConn is smart. When UConn goes on their run it will be all over and I cant see SC coming back because they don't have the scorers. They cant out height us, so they will have to hit some outside shots. If UConn comes out hot this could be over in the first half.

20 point win by UConn... No doubt. Believe, y'all...

As I predicted before, UConn 70-67, close game with some back and forth, many stretches of both teams making the other look ugly. Both are very good defensive teams, and that will be the dominating theme of the night. Matchup to watch: Jefferson vs. Cuevas.

Where are the predictions from the fans of the #1 rated team in the country?

Nerves will be a factor in the opening minutes. Both these teams like to run. This UConn team has has not realized its full potential. This will not be close.

88-67

These blow out prediction reminds me so much of the Stanford game prediction thread.

UCONN 78 / SoCar 50
Hopefully any ticket holders not able to go to the game call UCONN and donate your seats so students can attend instead! We need to pack the building 10,100+!

MoJett with 8 steals, minimum. She'll run right between the legs of the SC players. Won't even see her coming.
Best thing about the last game, Stewie and Tuck will be playing to impress Geno, not SC. UConn will shine.
I think that less than to impress Geno, Stewie and Morgan will play with a "screw him-how's THAT" attitude...And Geno will complement them after the game on playing the way that he knew they could play. UConn by 17, only because SC brings the final margin down under 20 late against the subs...

IMHO this game will be decided by the Refs. If UConn avoids getting Moriah, Stewie and Tuck into foul trouble they'll win. If however two out of the three get into serious foul trouble and have to sit for extended period of time, UConn might lose. South Carolina has so much depth, they can afford to get into foul trouble with the exception of Tiffany Mitchell.

Going with a close UConn win 71-64. Don't see anyway this game turns into a blowout, like the recent Duke games have been. Dawn Staley is a superior coach to Coach P and her players will not give up.

Odds are this is going to be a close game and I have UConn winning 73-65. However if UConn is able to rebound with South Carolina, negate their height advantage inside by stuffing the paint, and is hot from the outside this game could get ugly and UConn could win by 20.

The officials call a real tight game. UCONN makes 55 free throws, Jenn makes 12 in a row down the stretch and UCONN wins by 20, 75-55. GO UCONN

Who?
They're suiting up Rizzotti.

I could be wrong, IMHO I think SC may be a bit better than most think. UConn in a close one, 72-64.

I"ll go SC 71 UCONN 68.

(may the mojo gods smile on me)

At 9:00AM Uconn was favored by 15.5 points, at 10:37AM Uconn is now favored
by 18.5. I am surprised that the line is so high. GO HUSKIES!!!!

I'm in the upset camp: Number 2 over Number 1. Could be a reach with SC's superior starters, bench, coach, and mascot (a cock), but, hey, this is why they play the game.
