Koepka was absolutely cruising and then hit a couple of really bad tee shots. He recovered with a great save on the par 3 and a birdie on the par 5 to give himself a little distance (2 shots). I really thought he was going to come back to the field with a bogey on 16.
There are 11 guys within 4 shots, so it's a pretty open final day and all of those guys have game, experience and a bunch of majors. I'm not sure the group at 7 under is out of it, but they would have to go really low.
No matter where they put the pins, the course is short and the greens will continue to be receiving so they can go at almost any flag. First guy to shoot a 64 or 63 wins? Could be.
I look at the leaderboard and I waiver back and forth on a winner if I had to predict. Koepka's been there before, so I'll go with him (obviously not a stretch).
As for this being one of the less interesting majors, I have to agree. As already indicated, too soon after the Open Championship, a course that isn't a a real PGA test, poor coverage overall and way way too many commercials. My god - the commercials. 4 or 5 shots covered, 4 or 5 commercials, 4 of 5 shots covered, 4 or 5 commercials. It's ridiculous. The only saving grace is we don't have to hear Johnny Miller.
