I hope Geno goes by game time performance. Both Shade and Cheli have better game time 3pt averages, 42.4% and 44.4% respectively.Geno never says the kind of things he said after the game re: her status. This may be a destiny year. Time for Azzi to bombard xavier. Get that stroke back
Per Geno’s presser today, during UConn’s most recent practice they ran a 3-pt shooting drill with Paige on the sideline watching and hit an all-time record number of 3’s for that drill.
Tomorrow’s game vs Xavier could be a lot of fun to watch.
Allie and Q both suffer purely from a numbers issue.I wouldn’t mind seeing Allie start.
Maybe she will sit in the seat to CD's right all game to help coach the team...has this ever happened????Coach Paige the next few games .. nice I hope she drives Geno crazy on the sidelines lol
Curious why you would like to see that happenI wouldn’t mind seeing Allie start.
No, that’s not correct. Whether you’re playing against practice players or cupcakes, every time a team takes the floor, there is something positive you can learn and accomplish. More specifically, UConn will play an entire game without their best player. Geno is looking to see who steps up in her absence. At the same time he’s looking for Jana & Ice to continue to develop their post games.Xavier is the worst team in a P5 conference. The only thing learned from this game would be something negative.
My daughter lives in Arlington and she says there was already some snow. Is there more coming? The embassy where she works already closed Monday and Tuesday.Unfortunately, I won't be seeing Paige play on Saturday at Georgetown by all indications. That is if the game is even played as there is a potential snow storm in the forecast for Saturday and snow and DC do not do well together.
Out of curiosity, what is considered too much snow in DC? Would it be like Vancouver, British Columbia where a few inches (e.g. 3-5) causes a lot of problems?Unfortunately, I won't be seeing Paige play on Saturday at Georgetown by all indications. They usually shut down everything when a wintry mix is in the forecast. I lived in the DC suburbs from 1978 to 2005 and any snow on the ground was a disaster. However, many years in that time, there were snow storms that left many inches of snow and sometimes even a foot or more.Out of curiosity, what is considered too much snow in DC? I used to live in Northern VA. 2 inches of snow can shut everything down.Out of curiosity, what is considered too much snow in DC? Would it be like Vancouver, British Columbia where a few inches (e.g. 3-5) causes a lot of problems?

Thanks for the insight. It sounds very similar to Vancouver which is a little surprising to me.I used to live in Northern VA. 2 inches of snow can shut everything down.

DC lacks the snow clearing equipment to manage snow. Plus, lots of drivers in that area don't have a lot of experience driving in icy conditions. I don't know what Vancouver's excuse is, though. Thanks for the insight. It sounds very similar to Vancouver which is a little surprising to me.
I lived in DC for about 16 years and almost any amount of snow is problematic. For multiple reasons. They don't have the equipment like other locals and typically snow in DC is never just snow. It usually comes in combination with multiple precipitation types during the event which causes more drama.Out of curiosity, what is considered too much snow in DC? It is a destiny year! These are all bumps in the road that leads to #12.Geno never says the kind of things he said after the game re: her status. This may be a destiny year. Time for Azzi to bombard xavier. Get that stroke back
