OT- World Series

Well it worked it stalled the Dodgers momentum that inning, the longer you keep the Dodgers off the board the more pressure you put on them.
Batters are already feeling it. Let's hope they take out Kershaw for a pinch batter in the bottom of the inning.

Stros just have to hope to get a couple more innings from Peacock, if he fails go to Morton and Keuchel. Don't go near anyone in the bullpen.

It is crazy that their road to the title is using 3-4 guys who all started 20 games for them this year.

This is a huge inning here for the Dodgers realistically they need to get something here with the hear of their lineup up.

Why is Hinch going to Liriano instead of Morton or even Keuchel?

Whatever Hinch is doing, it's working so far, obviously. 8 stranded runners is excellent. Just no Giles. Please.

Its definitely an unusual move, well it worked so he looks like a genius now, he only had Liriano for one batter though, his moves once again stalled the Dodgers momentum, having a 5 run lead gives you somewhat of a cushion, guessing you stick with Devenski and if the Dodgers get to him then you would put in Morton.

You have to wonder why they didn't just start Kershaw. Seems like that would have been a better strategy.

How many times have we seen teams start their studs in game 1, 4 and 7? Dave Roberts swung and missed here.

I haven't followed Charlie Morton's career. It's weird he was a journeyman type with a losing record before he came to the Stros, his stuff is electric. Need to leave him in to close it out.

Some pitchers just figure it out later in their career.

Is Springer gonna be like the 20th Astro interviewed.

Morton had me choked up with his post game. Had no idea what he went through, 9 times on the disabled list. His stuff is filthy, so happy for him.

He also totally revamped his game.

In hs and early in his career his fastball was straight as an arrow.

Now he has a heavy sinker that is his bread and butter.

Throwing 98 mph doesn't hurt either.

As a Pirates fan, he could be maddening. He always had electric stuff coaches and catchers raved about. He rarely got hit hard. But he had control issues early on and a propensity to give up a series of bleeders and then walk someone, then hit a guy, then a crooked number. Lots of Pirates fans felt he didn't have the confidence to be really good. That he was weak mentally.

Always was a standup guy. His post game interviews were surreal at times, the way he'd analyze his performance.

But a few of us still believed he'd get it together. And I'm delighted for him, as are a lot of his former Pirate teammates and fans.

Celebrating a home run in the world series is worse than making slant eyes at an Asian?
East Asian*. This gets tiring. His father is west Asian.

Yu ain't clutch but he's made his coin and is living comfortably. As long as he's away from Dodgers' fans.
