Beastie boy fans, check out their concert DVD called "Awesome...I f*#*@ng Shot That". It's one of my favorite concert DVDs up there with The Last Waltz, Concert for Bangladesh and the Festival Express. It's a BB concert in MSG, or Uconn-manhattan campus, from about 6 year ago or so. It's beyond sweet. They give 50 people throughout the whole stadium high def cameras and edit it down through all the different prospectives. They play all the goodies and even do an instrumental set which is awesome. Highly recommend.
Also I saw some tribe fans- check out the DVD that just came out called "beats, rhymes & life". My all time favorite band and you get some great stories, amazing live performances, hear why the broke up and see how Qtip finds a sample, it's fascinating. He breaks down how he did the beat for Can I Kick It, an it wasn't as simple as just using Lou reeds song.
Illimatic, low end theory have already been mentioned and are in my top five with these too and the Allman Bros live at filmore east.

A very underrated album. Although I was a big VM fan growing up I didn't discover this gem until later

A rarity--a studio double-album without a lousy song on it.
Never got a chance to see either, Brother Mau. But I taught myself the piano part to Love Lies Bleeding, and was able to hack away at SOME of Green Grass and High Tides Forever.Thats funny brother swami.............most rockers of the 70's-80's wouldn't admit to how much they enjoyed the different Elton John songs but there's no doubt he was a great one. A chick brought me on my birthday and I kinda laughed but she was hot so I said yes, maybe the greatest concert I went ot as far as pure entertainment top to bottom. The Live Funeral for a Friend is my favorite concert song ever with Green Grass and High Tides a close 2nd - both at the HCC............
