+1 I bought it the day it came out in '68...I was fourteen. There was nothing like it at the time, and nothing like it since with regard to the range of styles. Compare "Blackbird" to "Helter Skelter" and your head will explode.

I still have my copy. The inner liner photos seriously dog-eared, feeling like they'll turn to dust.

Great album, love Pink Floyd. Every single album they made is a joy. Except The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, boy is that a weird album.

Big L was an incredibly gifted MC, and that Lifestyles... album was an incredibly raw and stunning work. Pretty amazing to think that album was the first time I ever heard Jay Z on anything, just as a footnote.
