Believe me, mau, I would have called out everyone of them, too. It's the behavior that's wrong without regard to person.

Fair enough.......good thread interesting takes on the man we know as Tiger. I'm sure we all admit to one thing, it sure will be much more fun on the weekend if he's in the hunt so you can either root for him to finish or root for him to fall apart depending on your point of view....lol:)

Sadly, I was someone who watched the PGA almost every Sunday afternoon. I loved golf. I have watched a total of 4-6 rounds in the last three years. It has taken away all my passion for the game.

Funny but I stopped watching for a few years when Greg Norman was the media darling. He got all the hype Tiger gets except he choked every time the chips were on the line in a major. I got sick of watching the Greg Norman show every week. Talk about a phoney media creation. That chisled face belied a weak belly. Thank god Tiger came along and restored my interest.

That's how I felt about Tiger until all this happened and I had followed him a few times.

The only time I saw him play was the last time the PGA was at Wingfoot, 98 or 99. It might have been Tiger's first year as a pro. He didn't have a very good day. Made a bunch of incredible shots but put too many in the tall grass around the greens. The horde that followed him were a constant moving mass with about twenty photographers along for the ride. Many golfers who played with him commented on how hard it was too play under those conditions. And he had that every round. And at Wingfoot that year he was a perfect gentleman. If he cursed I didn't hear it and frankly that is the last thing I care about.
