There is also a big difference in Peyton not denying his wife had HGH and his admitting she did

I'm comparing your behavior to the behavior of loser PC/Cuse fans. And it's accurate. Your posts when it comes to the Patriots equal the posts of bitter PC/Cuse fans when it comes to UConn bball. Half your posts read like you have literally taken one of their posts and replaced the word "Yukon" with the word "Patriots".

You cover all their greatest hits. "They only win because they cheat". "The fan base thinks the sport was invented the year they became good". "It's a joke the fans think they are unfairly treated by the sport's governing body". "They're in for a rude awakening when the current regime leaves". It's amazing.

The timing of it has nothing to do with the Super Bowl or Peyton Manning. It has everything to do with the U. Tennessee Title IX Sports Sexual Harrassment lawsuit from last week. It's just a coincidence. A small part of this story has been around since the early 200os, as the linked article makes clear. But the court transcripts were buried until they were unearthed last week in the new lawsuit.

Any sports fan knows this story, it's been around for like 20 years. It's a 13 year old court filing from the woman's lawyers. Shaun King wrote his story because Peyton Manning was playing in the Super Bowl against Cam Newton. He wants to paint the picture that the media hates Cam Newton because he's young black and brash and the media loves the golden boy hokey image of the old white Peyton Manning. Shaun King is a fraud and it's a joke that he's still writing for a paper. The NY Daily News was never a bastion of journalism but nowadays it's worse than the tabloids you see at the checkout counter. Again the allegation about Manning could be true but if you don't think Shaun King has an agenda I don't know what to tell you. He certainly wasn't writing this because he actually cares about the woman possibly being victimized 20 years ago.

Wow, you jumped the shark a long time ago, but I certainly didn't expect you to go this far.

The transcripts show for the first time stuff well beyond the USA Today story. In fact, King even writes that he doesn't know why USA Today sat on the transcripts.

They show numerous things. Like the fact that the head trainer Rollo was vile, and even he admitted that they tried to concoct a story to protect Manning. They show that Rollo and Archie tried to pin it on another player. They show that Manning's friend and starting RB testified against him and against Rollo. They show that the Mannings tried to destory this woman after they did this to her. The Saxson letter in particular, written by another Manning friend, is damning. None of this was in the earlier record. The earlier record made it seem as though Manning planted his anus and scrotum on her face, and nothing else. But the transcripts show a concerted effort to bury this woman in any number of ways. To destroy her career.

I'm going to assume you didn't read the article because you characterized it as her lawyer's point-of-view, whereas the transcripts are court transcripts and testimony, with letters written by witnesses and Peyton's friends, including a mea culpa from the head trainer who admitted to making up a false story against her. In other words, the damning stuff is not from the woman's lawyer.

My race-baiting about Shaun King?!?? That's a new low for even you. I wanted Cam and the Panthers to win and constantly defended him while people have been bashing him for things like dancing too much and smiling too much which I find are racially prejudiced reactions. I'm the furthest thing from a Peyton fan or a fan of any of the Mannings, I'm a Giants fan that doesn't even want Eli as our quarterback. Of course you don't want to be reminded of the PSU stuff, the whole board tore you apart for it. I'm actually surprised you still post here after that.

You called King a fraud. I'm assuming you're talking about that he's not really black. He's come out and said that he has 5 siblings, none of whom have the same father. From a family like that, it's hard to know who his father is. There are police stories from back when he was 12 and in high school when he was beaten in hate crimes.

Apparently, he was concocting his faux black persona back when he was 12.

Ridiculous.

As for PSU, there are a lot of people here who know I was totally critical and not defending PSU at all. In fact, there are many dozens of posts here from regular posters highlighting what I wrote as not at all condoning PSU. It's your bad memory that creates these assumptions.
