You might have a point if it wasn't started by a Pats fan who has gone to great lengths lambaste and mock even the slightest (and much less lame) suggestions of martyrdom by UConn fans. But since it was, it actually reinforces the fact that Pats fans really have no equal as martyrs.

Most deluded fanbase ever.

It's not delusional if it's true, homeboy.

Well, yes, the fact that Pats fans are the worst martyrs ever is undoubtedly true, sport.

The belief that that martyrdom is justified, however, is just that--a belief. One that is held by no one other than Pats fans.

Keep on keepin' on though. It's a good look--not--when you are being more ludicrous than the posts that you spend most of your time bashing.

All we need now is to have you be overserved so we can see the real BigErn magic at work.

This is a Uconn board though not a Pats board.

There were three Giants threads going on at the end of the season, one at least 10 pages in length. Nobody complained.

Don't like it? Don't read it. Pretty simple solution.

Bashing? Toughen up, dude.

Eh, didn't really put much thought into choice of words there. 'Bitching' is probably more apropos. Call it whatever you want.

Peyton was an individual thing and the Pats were a team thing thats the difference.

Seriously? Not true. Brady was the target of a specific investigation. The Wells report follow up ALL about Brady. The lawsuits are all about Brady vs the NFL. Not the Patriots as a team or organization.

.-.
No but I also do not care and still revisit it and whine about all the time. I am an adult who realizes not everyone and everything in the world is treated the same.

I think the Pats and UConn fans who cry about being mistreated, some of it being justified and some of it being complete delusion, are the worst. Not all UConn and Pats fans consistently cry about that nonsense.

Yeah well, when someone takes a metaphorical dump on you, you should complain. If you don't, you condone it, and give them license to do it again. Insert Godwin's Law reference here.

It's only nonsense to you. But not to them. So you're opinion is more important than there's? Sweet.

Yes Pats fans should completely trust the NFL. Every piece of information they've come out with in the last year has been proven to be true. They have handled themselves with such integrity that even a US court agreed they acted in a fair matter. The league that denied concussions cause brain damage happened to be 100% correct and single-handedly disproved the ideal gas law in nothing more than a report written by a fair and unbiased investigator. How could Patriot fans not trust this fine non profit organization? Clearly delusional! It must be in the water! I believe Al Jazeera was wrong about the Flint water problem when in fact it must have been happening in Boston instead! Now that's an organization no one should trust!

Your, and those like you, constant complaining and reiterating the same tired arguments and jokes on the Boneyard is doing so much good to change the injustices you believe have been instituted against the Pats and UConn. Goodell's and Emmert's favorite bathroom reading is the boneyard and thanks to your complaining they will change their ways.

Exactly. The report totally exonerated the Patriots.

Something about this Pats thing really strikes a nerve with you, huh, "sport"? Totally legitimate response to what was a pretty mild joke - "not."

You "keep on keepin' on though."

Hey it's better than staying silent. I'm not one to ever allow someone to disabuse anyone/thing I care about unchallenged. Not in my nature.

You want me and others like me to allow other posters and fans to dump on my teams without saying anything.

Hopefully you've reserved some of your scorn for most of the posters in the Louisville press conference thread.

If that was the case it would be one thing, but it is not, it is the unprompted "NFL is out to get the Pats" and the "NCAA is out to get UConn" or the "ESPN hates UConn" threads and posts which are pathetic and are really just done so people can throw a pity party as they literally accomplish nothing else.

I enjoy how you're implying other posts on this board "accomplish" something.

Nah, it's an obsession with fairness. You'll hear UCONN fans complain about fairness vis a vis the NCAA all the time. Hopefully you're one who complains about it and encourages the NCAA does as they see fit.

Yes, but this is a UConn basketball message board. I'll bet if you look hard enough, you can find a Patriot message board with a whole bunch of pity party threads to partake in.

You notice the OT in the title? That's there for a reason. There's currently a SuperBowl post pinned to the top of the board, a Dave Mirra died thread, a Year of the Monkey post, another in a series of Seth Curry posts....and that's just on the first page. None of these have anything to do with UCONN basketball.

If you aren't interested why even open the thread? Never mind actually read and post. Makes no sense.

There are a couple obvious exceptions: WINNING! and Sr Testiculo.

Those posts, without question, accomplish something. Something great.
True, I stand corrected.

And don't forget the pizza, beer, wings and grinder threads, which have helped accomplish bigger and bigger things every day.

Huge oversight on my part. Correction noted.

My New Haven apizza experience was immensely elevated due to that thread.

I can't believe you even mentioned that, in this of all months.

Mods, please delete this racism.

DeMarcus? That you? On the Boneyard! No shiiiiiit!
