I'd say the jury will leave and enter the real world again and realize they made a huge mistake and Karen Read is obviously innocent. But there's like a 99% chance the deadlock was 11-1 and the Albert's paid off a juror
Hearing 9-3 amazingly. Think Karen Read being wholly unlikeable lost her a few votes

Proctor fired. That’s tough to do with the union but first domino to drop is Proctor.
Not fired… yet.

“Proctor was removed from duty effective immediately and will be transferred out of the detective unit assigned to the Norfolk district attorney’s office effective Sunday, according to a statement from State Police interim Colonel John E. Mawn Jr.

Although Trooper Proctor is still employed by the Department, the decision to relieve him of duty means that he can no longer work cases or function as a trooper during this time,” a State Police spokesperson said.”

Step one towards being fired

I am surprised the Alberts only threatened to go medieval on the family members of three jurors.

That whole Albert crew just sat there in court for 10 weeks ensuring that the intimidation would work.

Still gonna pick up 50k in OT
Two cops in my area were fired and an arbiter determined the union contract rules for due process were violated, not that the cops didn't deserve to be fired. They were fired four years ago and now the town owes them $1 million+ in lost income.

Sanctioning them for destruction of evidence is a different thing than inducting them for murder and conspiracy.
No kidding. The obvious next step in logic is that, as they investigate, they read the deleted texts and watch destroyed ring camera footage etc, a clear conspiracy is revealed.

If they didn’t delete “she’s got a leaky balloon knot” and “no nudes so far” then it makes me wonder what they decided to delete!

9-3 is just absurd. Again the only way to say the prosecution proved its case beyond a reasonable doubt is to suspend all disbelief of the prosecution evidence AND totally ignore + dis-believe the defense evidence of giant holes.

Going forward they are stuck in that they are continually exposed as awful in all respects with a re-trial OR admit they are beyond awful and not retry. So probably they try the case again but drag their fee a bit, minimize the prosecution effort, we will see various individuals blamed (ie cop 're-assigned') and the defense gets stronger.

I’d be shocked if they retry this especially with Proctor’s dismissal yesterday

Like this analyst said, you can believe that Karen was guilty and also believe that the prosecution did not prove its case. They also discuss a possible retrial. If Karen can't afford the attorney, I'm sure at this point someone could go the gofundme route.

gofundme can't be used for legal fees.

Really? Maybe NIL then.

Are you sure about that? I googled and didn't find anything
Despite Proctor's searches, I'm not sure if she could really pull off an . The fact that she had a Lexus LX suggests she's not too poor.

GoFundMe seems to think otherwise:
