This didn't take long.

This whole thing has always seemed like a bad melodrama. I wonder whether the story will be of a plucky heroine who will dealing with the tragic loss of her boyfriend suddenly finds herself fighting for her freedom as she is framed by the actual murders. Or will it be the story of a wicked woman who drunkenly murdered her noble boyfriend and then schemes to keep her freedom as his noble friends desperately try to get justice. You could go either way with it. I fully expect there will be two movies.

But how can u admit evidence without a strict chain of title???
The Commonwealth presented it and the defense shredded the commonwealth on cross for ignoring chain of custody procedures throughout. Actually helped the defenses case given all the police shenanigans during the investigation.

Thx. But wouldn’t most judges refuse to admit based on faulty chain of title? Based on reports I’m amazed it was 8-4 to convict on the one count

who is debunking the video? I've read it's fake but no confirmation

There's an analogy I could make if what a mental health professional once told me is true. A stressful situation often leads people working in that environment to become much closer emotionally.
While planning for construction of a new psychiatric unit, a psychiatrist told me there are a lot of affairs among workers on psych units due to the stress they're under caring for difficult patients.
That was one man's opinion (maybe he had one of the affairs but I didn't ask) but it seemed to make sense. Maybe there's a psychiatrist or mental health worker on the Boneyard that can comment, but the analogy I see is the lawyer and client just went through a long period of great stress and may, if the video is real, just be letting go and having a good time for a moment.

I haven't spent much time on this but after reading the comments here, and in the following article, it sure sounds like typical Massachusetts politics at work. There's a group that will always take care of their own, no matter the morality or how others might be harmed.
My bet is we have a plucky heroine and the sequel on Netflix could be called "The Departed" parts 2, 3, and 4............

I would say that is probably true for many if not all professions. People may spend far more hours with their co-workers than with their spouses and leads to mucho office canoodling.
