Even against a terrible defense 17/18 2tds 230 yards passing is good. Give him time he can make all the throws. He’s not what he once was but on the right team he could be good.
Great, let him be good somewhere else.

You clearly don't understand how bad their defense is.

Interesting. Tell me more about their awful start.
Yeah, your right, teams start off trying to lose because that's a plan in every coach and players playbook
You should stop with this

The team was trying to win early in the season, and that's the problem. Eli stuff aside, an entire front office of people looked at a team with Ereck Flowers starting at tackle and thought they could compete for the playoffs/Super Bowl

Why are the Giants trying to lose the bid for #1 overall in the draft?
It’s been said that there are 10-12 or so programs who are actually serious about competing for championships and winning; the rest are little more than businesses who, if it all comes together one year great, but if not at the end of the day it’s all about equity.

The Giants, for better or worse in the short term, are absolutely the former. Don’t strike me as a franchise that would consider tanking.

No guaranteed contracts so the players have to give it their all for their best interests.

The decision to go into the season with "whatever" Flowers is a sign that the team was not looking to win this year.

That’s absurd. At that point of time Flowers was their best shot at right tackle. There wasn’t a right tackle they could sign and fit under the cap that was a clear upgrade. In reality pro football focus had him playing better than wheeler especially with the run. I saw somewhere wheeler was the lowest rated tackle in all of football.

A guy off the street was a clear upgrade to Flowers, he was the worst tackle in football.
