OT: Favorite toys while growing up....

I grew up in the woods of East Hampton, CT. This was my fave toy...

Xmas 1973.... I prayed really hard for this. I must have done a good job.

Try “the General” from the late 80s, early 90s.

Incredible giant rolling battle station

I broke pretty much every toy I ever owned and did so relatively quickly, so I don't recall any particular emotional attachments. I do think Hot Wheels had a good run since that track was indestructable.

Loved this game. Like "Battleship" on steroids....3 levels

Had some metal, yellow Tonka trucks which are still at my folks' house 40 years later and useable. I'm pretty sure my sister's didn't like my plastic Star Wars light sabre I used to light up and bash them in the head.

Besides "The Duke" football, glove, basketball and hoop my favorite toy was this Johnny Seven gun. Back when you could have such toys. Grenade launcher and rubber bullets. Another favorite was my tabletop ice hockey game with the Canadiens and Maple Leafs. The newer games are not as good as the old ones which had metal rods and players. Three pucks the regular, magnetic and puck with a ball bearing.
