Thank god Eddie wasn't interested in the assistant HC position, because THAT position requires a bachelor's degree.

LOL at nationally competitive

is ruthetiger special needs or does it actually think anyone has any respect for rutgers?

I suspect lots of alcohol was imbibed by some today.

Apparently, in such a state, it's hard to understand words such as these: "I was told my classes were never recorded. I saw a transcript. I will have to find it. I was there and I completed the work."

Hard to believe that some are suckered into thinking a PR person somewhere botched this for Jordan and Rutgers. After reading these lines, this tells me everything I need to know.

That touches on the part of this story that doesn't add up to me. Getting a degree is an accomplishment. Why let so much time go by if you did the work, but the school didn't recognize it?

I'm no enemy of procrastination, but waiting 30+ years to clear something up that would prove you're a college grad doesn't make sense to me.

.-.
I am of the mind not to give a rat's ass what happens to the coach at RU. They were not even a top half team when they were in the real BE - now they will be "also rans" in the new Catholic League. I'd like to start seeing some Memphis and Temple threads around here and help move the mojo forward.

WE ARE DOOMED!!!!!!!!!!!

Errrr.... they will be in our conference next year, no? One more year in the AAC. Then off to the B1G.

He lied. He never got the degree. He might very well have had enough credits to graduate... even if he's got a transcript to prove it... he still lied about getting the degree. It's also a very stupid lie if he did have enough credits (which I doubt). Just fill out the goshdarn paper work.

It's an even dumber move in light of the George O'Leary thing. If you don't have a degree just say so.

Oey...

>>The search for Rutgers’ next athletic director, expected to end tonight, will last at least another day. With the school’s Executive Athletic Committee deadlocked at 3-3 tonight in trying to choose between candidates Sean Frazier and Julie Hermann, the Rutgers Board of Governors will make the decision on the person who will succeed Tim Pernetti, likely during a conference call early tomorrow morning, according to three people familiar with the process.<<
